I know there's another few hundred topics around here but my low TP Points won't allow me to cast Necromancy.

Anyways, ya. It's lookin pretty good right now. Seems like we're deporting Melee Station and getting ready for a landing in Brawl City. I admit, i'm gonna miss Melee. It's fun, simply gameplay has held up over the last 6 or 7 years since it's release and I regard it as one of the (if not the) best fighting game(s) in existence. I'm still gay for Marth and always will be no matter how sexy Pit looks in his white robes.

One thing that concerns me, though, is the lack of Wiimote play. So far, it's been confirmed that the GC Controller/Classic Controller will be the method of play, but i've devulged a formula for the best possible method of play using only the Wiimote + Nunchuk:

You could use the analog stick on the nunchuk to move around, the C button to block, and the Z button to grab and the B Button and A Button on the Wiimote for actual attacks (combines with the Analog on the Nunchuk for Smash attacks and stuff).

What do you guys think?

Nintendo, per usual, has released little in the way of actual information on the new Smash Bros.

While they are focusing on traditional gameplay, I agree that seeing some Remote+Nunchuk functionality would be pretty cool. After 50+ hours on Twilight Princess, I noticed that two separate one-handed controllers is very relaxing compared to a single two-handed controller.

Hopefully they'll slap us with some more info at GDC next weekend. Maybe they'll unveil some more characters. Here's for Sonic. *crosses fingers*

Sonic in Super Smash Bros?! Are you insane?! That is for Nintendo characters like Link, Mario and Pikachu. Sonic is from Sega... there's no way he'd be in there. Oh... and I like your idea of the control system, too.

He might be. They put Snake from Metal Gear Solid in and that's a Konami series primarily only on Sony's consoles. And Nintendo has said they want atleast two more third-party characters to appear. SONIC PL0X!
