Yeah. Sounds stupid, I know.
So yeah, I'll be sitting in my boring Advanced Functions and Modeling class at school, bored out of my mind because she obviously doesn't know how to teach the subject.
So, I take my graphing calculator, my TI-83 Plus calculator by Texas Instruments, and start playing around it. Especially the graphing portion.
Since you can make your own graphs and whatnot with it, I decided to try my hand in "calculator art" by using the pen tool on the device.
I made some pretty simple and nonchalant drawings, including a parrot/toucan, and a dachshund. Would be way more advanced than that if I had the time instead of a few measley minutes.
I'm just wanting to know, would I be allowed to submit this to FAC? I mean, I technically drew the drawings, but I had to photograph them first. Would it count as art at all, technically speaking?

Come on. You could have presented that in a much more nerdy way.
lim-->0 people who appreciate
Back on topic, yes it is acceptable.
If you've played portal, you'll applicate this somewhat on topic video:

Such graphics are not a far cry from pixel art. 96x64 (128x64 for some models) monochrome pixels. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I know some pixel artists who actually make intricate art in their TIs. _________________ |

how do you fill in individual pixels?
I thought TI-83 was all vectors/functions (got his TI-83 two weeks ago for statistics) _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Go to the "Draw" menu and select the "PixelChg" tool, then click to turn individual pixels on and off.
...At least that's how my late 1990's TI-85 does it. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Okay. That is what I thought.

I would be able to create better-looking art on the TI-83 *if* I had more time to do so. Plus I have like a teacher breathing down my neck |
