Not only can I sing in Japanese, I can also sing in Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, Latin, and of course English. I've been singing for most of my life and have a natural affinity for languages, which makes it easy for me to sing in any language presented to me, whether I speak it or not.

By the way TeenTitansFanatic, may I suggest shortening the length of your signature? It's not very cool to have to scroll that far down for just a sig. It's just courteous to shorten it. |

				| It really depends on how much I like the song, to learn to sing it correctly. But yea, in answer to your question I can sing a little in Japanese. |

				| I took a Japanese class in school, and we learned Do Re Mi and another song about a clock in Japanese. Do Re Mi was really hard to sing, as it went about twice as high as the English version. o_O |

Anyone could sing in Japanese if they tried. The real question should be whether they can sing it well and if they actually know what they're saying. _________________ a jelly calypso castle in the sky |

first question : no

second : yes

Lol n.n I can't sing very well (doesn't stop me though...I love to n.n just not around people)

and I love J-pop/rock/etc and love singing in japanese.

out of the two...I personally think I sing a little better in Japanese than in English. |

Well, I know a minimal amount of Japanese, but I'm powerful lazy and even when my fellow Japan-ophile literally shoves the lyrics to a Japanese song in my face I usually forget them. It drives her nuts. So when I do sing along, I usually babble. It's like that ones song, "Louie Louie," only in another language. |

ES GIBT KEIN BEIR AUF HAWAII!!! I will shut up now lol! _________________ I'm just a simple MEGGY MAE. |

i got bored enough one day to write down lyrics to Edge (.hack//liminality)

konomama zutto yukunone

uso wo tsumikasanetemo

kono michi wo nidoto modoru koto wo dekinai

I bet were going to keep going like this

Even if one lie leads to another

Well never be able to go back on this path again

ano toki fumihazushita kyoukaisen no mukou ni

kimi wa donna yume egaite ochite itta?

On the other side of the borderline you crossed that time

What kind of dreams did you paint as you fell?

ashita niwa mietekuru mirai nante roku demo nai kedo

moshikashitara sonnamono ni sugaritsuite ikiteiru

The future that becomes visible tomorrow isnt really that great

But just maybe were living clinging onto it anyway

kitto hounto wa kimi wo watashi mo chigau basho de onaji mono wo

Sagashiteru, kanjiteru tatta hitotsu no shinjitsu

I bet you and I are looking for the same thing in different places

Searching and feeling for the one single truth

Soredake wo tada shiritakute nanimo motazuni koko ni iru

Yume wo utsustsu wo samayou

Were too close to the edge!

I want to know it so badly that I am here holding nothing

Drifting between dream and reality,

Were too close to the edge!

Konomama zutto yukunone

Uso wo tsumikasanetemo

Fumihazushita michi wo modoru koto wo dekinai

I bet were going to keep going like this

Even if one lie leads to another

Well never be able to return to the path you stepped out of again

Kimi ga ima doko ni ite nani wo mitsumete itemo

Sonna fuuni kokorohanashita mama futari wa aishiauno!

No matter where you are now or what youre looking at,

Even when our hearts are apart like that we will still love each other! |

My sig though is the another song for .hack//sign. But it's in english anyway >.< |

it's weird..by the third or fourth time i listen to a song, i can almsot perfectly sing along with it.

even if i hear a song i haven't listenend to in years, i';ll still remember the lyrics perfectly.

Been hooked on 'Eden' (Yami No Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness opening theme) for a week now.. my current song obsession ^____^

Even though, 'Velvet Underworld' (from Weiss Kruez i believe) is pretty awesome.. i love the lyrics to it too ^__________^

edit: lyrics to Velvet Underworld:

Shinku no juutan ni nita

kono yo no hana wa mina omote

sono shita ni nagareru yami

kanashimi wa soko kara umare

aa, kokoro sae itsuwatte ikiruno ka

hito wa sadame ni ayatsurareru dake

the worlds flowers like a carpet of crimson red

as one scatter and toss through the air

sorrow and sadness are born there

from the darkness that streams underneath

ah, are hearts only meant to lie?

are people just puppets of fate

tada, itoshiki mono dakishime

chiisaki mono mamoru tame

kyou mo dare ka ga sakebu

kono inochi sae mo nagedashi

toki no naka de moetsukiru

sono isshun ni kuchizuke o

only to embrace those we love

and protect those small and precious

today again some one shouts that out

sacrificing even their life

to smolder in the midst of time

with that instants kiss.

yokubou ni yogoreta machi

fukinukeru kaze dake sora e

fuminiji rarete yuku ai

te no hira ni nokotta namida

aa, egao made ubawarete ikiru no ka

dare mo kizutsuki kokoro mo naiteru

in this city stained with greed

there is only wind blowing towards the sky

all that is left of trampled love

is the tear left in the palm of my hand

ah, were smiles only meant to sunder?

every one has their wounded hearts

ima, hizamazuite inori o kakan nai mono mamoritai

mune ni juuji o kizamu

kono tomerarenai nani ka o

osaerareru tamashii o

tada shinjitai itsu made mo

I want to protect those timid creatures

those who kneel in prayer

I'll even carve a cross in my chest

to believe in something unstoppable

and the irrepressible spirit

now and forever

kumo ga kiete hoshi ga mieru

kaze ga tomari tori ga utau

umi ga hikari sora ni tokeru

yoru ga owari kimi o kanjiru

the clouds disperse the stars are seen

the wind stills the birds sing

the ocean shines the heavens thaw

the night ends I feel you

tada, itoshiki mono dakishime

chiisaki mono mamoru tame

kyou mo dare ka ga sakebu

kono inochi sae mo nagedashi

toki no naka de moetsukiru

I love to sing in English or Japanese... even though I can't carry a tune. ^__^ In fact I'm quite fond of attempting to sing ramdom anime themes and j-pop songs at work when I'm on night shift and there's no customers. Especially the opening to Azumanga Daioh, and White Reflection (From Endless Waltz). But I can never remember all the words so I either end up repeating the same half dozen lines over and over again or I just start making up words that go along with the tune. Then the kitchen guys usually start yelling at me to shut up. _________________

				| Heh. I do the same at home! My older sister gets annoyed and then looks at me like I am some kind of freak. But eventually it would get stuck in her head and she makes a poor attept to sing it too. But she just says a ton of nonsence in tune with it cause she can't remember the lyrics! Then she's the freak! ^____^ |
