[i]Gravitation - the popular shounen-ai romance/comedy anime about the 19-year-old young boy, Shuichi Shindou, and Eiri Yuki, the romance novelist. They are pulled towards each other like gravity, and there is nothing they could do to stop it.[/i]

We all know the storyline, pretty much. I'm wanting to know if there are other fans to the show, and any haters.

Personally, I think Gravitation is considered, to me, one of the best animes I have seen lately. Its intriguing storyline just draws me in, Shuichi is such an adorable little hyper ball of energy that you cannot resist, and the romance between Shuichi and Yuki is so unbearable I cannot put down the manga!

What do you all think? I respect the homophobes who think [i]Gravitation[/i] is disgusting, but [b]please[/b] don't flame, okay?

I'll try not to bash gravitation considering I used to be HUGE fan of it. Honestly it's probably a nice series for young teenagers. It's cute, sappy, and somewhat on the cliche side. Which is perfect for the 13-16 year old range... but after that you kind of want a little more depth in your series. The only things I actually still like about the series myself are the antics of the crazy american characters... K, ARC, Renge, and Renge's assistant (name slips my mind). It proves the myth that all americand are loud scary guntoters who fly in giant panda mechs.

But seriously. Gravitation really is now where near the best anime. There are dozens of series I could name that are much better.

Haha. I've never liked romance manga, be it het, shounen-ai, or shouji-ai, and the characters are pretty cookie cutter (and not that well drawn, in fact). Music, animation, voices, and everything else, actually, are rather unspectacular.

I love Gravitation^^ I know it's not among the best animes out there, but It's the first anime I watched and it will always be one of my favourites. One thing I really love about it is that every single one of the characters are complete lunatics Very Happy

I think the music is awesome... ok, some of Bad Luck's songs are just plain silly, but the songs of Nittle-Grasper are pure genious. Especially Shining Collection and Predilection <3

Agreed. I'm thinking about getting the soundtracks. Fave songs = Super Drive, Glaring Dream, In the Moonlight, Sleepless Beauty, Drive Me High, and Rage Beat.

I recently got Volumes 1 and 2 on DVD in the mail.

I'll try not to say any hard things either, since I enjoyed it when I was much, much younger (around 12-13)?

But mostly, I just liked the porntabular Gravitation REMIX. lolololol you can really see her roots as a doujinka, producing some for her own series hahah.

Gravitation is my favorite shounen-ai series.. I like the manga better than the anime, but the anime's veery cute too. ^_^
