My personal favorite, it's a free verse poem, which is what I mostly write. My original of this is at school, so this is rewrite of it. The original is way longer.-

[u]I Looked at You[/u]

I looked into your eyes, and saw defeat
I looked into your soul, and saw it was destroyed
I looked at your body, and saw torture
I looked at your face, and saw it shatter

I burrowed into your heart, and saw coldness
I broke into your personality, and saw oblivion
I tore into your emotions, and saw you had none
I listened to your voice, and heard pain

As I looked at you, I saw a reflection
I was you and you were me, we are alike in so many ways
Yet...you don't see me

[u]Suicide[/u]

Watching you, the sound of banging open doors
you're climbing up the ladder, higher and higher to the top
the look of death and suicide sparkle in your darkened eyes

I run out to you, crying, begging, and screaming your name
I cry because of what you're about to do
I beg for you to stop the madness that surrounds your soul
I scream your name to try and snap you to reality, make you realize your mistake

You reach the top, hugging it tight with your back and arms
The ground is so far below you as am I
My crying means nothing to you
My begging is not effective
My screaming of your name does not save you and bring you back to reality
Too late, life is all gone, the essence of sanity has left your soul

I realize this as your blood stains this ground, I realize it was too late
But, what I wonder, is why you chose this as the answer, the escape
Why? Why did jumping and momentarily falling be your answer?
As of now, this is all just a wonderful, lovely suicide...my suicide

[u]Secluded[/u]

Deep within the depths of your mind
the light is slowly fading as you reach
though you never make it to the light, no matter how hard you try

Secluded in your mind, the only escape being none
secluded in your soul, never to speak again
secluded in your thoughts, as you die away slowly
you try so hard to understand why, why did they seclude you

As you walk the empty hallways of your dreams, you realize your mistakes
these stone cold wall never fade, never to give way
you're alone now, and nothing can save you

You're secluded in your mind, the only escape being none
secluded in your soul, never to speak again
secluded in your thoughts, as you die away slowly
you try so hard to understand why, why did they seclude you

Try to understand this world through your empty eyes
try to understand the pain that flows from it's sour ground
but so far you're seeing nothing, nothing in the depths of nothingness
But that's because there's nothing to see, nothing to feel, nothing to show

Because you're secluded in your mind, the only escape being none
secluded in your soul, never to speak again
secluded in your thoughts, as you die away slowly
you try so hard to understand why, why did they seclude you
Forever isolated in nothing, forever to be nothing...why...why did you seclude me
