I love the Grudge. Very Happy The ring I and II are good also. Even though The Exorcism of Emily Rose wasn't that scary, I thought it was good, even if I was watching it at four in the morning and the sky was starting to lighten up. lol

Saw was the shit. 2+3 sucked horribly. No plot in them, were basicly glorified Hostel.

Saw sucked. Nice idea, awful movie.

I hated The Grudge. The only thing that freaked me out was in the first one when the sister was attacked in bed. I like to think that the bed is safe. Haha. I thought they were gonna repeat that in 2 with the Japanese girl in the love hotel, but guess not. I like endings and closure. This movie was just a bunch of people dying for no reason at all.

Never sat through a Final Destination movie. Too dull. Would rather be watching HGTV.

Heels don't have eyes. What an awful typo.

Only the first and maybe the third Exorcist movies were worth watching. The Beginning(s?) was downright awful. The second one sucked major cock.

Didn't see Exorcism of Emily Rose. Didn't see Hostel.

Japanese Ring was better. First remake was okay, second was shitty as hell. Totally ruined the story. Both movies were too weaksauce to follow the book.

The Birds. Eh. It's supposed to be a classic and all, not my thing. Horror thread without mention of Psycho? Odd.

Liked the Halloween movies. Liked the Omen series, but I haven't seen the remake yet. Liked Evil Dead, the original Wickerman, The Shining..

I liked that movie about the haunted house and that autistic girl or something. Don't remember the name. I think it was Stephen King material, probably "Red" something. Whatever.

This post is too long. Bye.

Would Event Horizon be classed as some sort of horror, even though it's science fiction themed?

I liked 'The ring 1' and 'The grudge 1' < the sequels kinda dragged
'The ring O' was really good even though I think it followed a slightly different storyline
I like all of the 'Saw's
Evil dead
'The omen' and it's remake
House of wax
and random Japanese horrors that get played really late on weekends

The only thing that comes to mind right now is both, the initial Saw and Aliens.

Freedy Vs. Jason had a badass soundtrack. Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Chimiara.

my favorite horror movie is probably saw 1.

the second and third kinda killed it though.

the best horror movie of all time is Mr. Jingles. A guy gets his dick chopped off and the clown, Mr. Jingles, throws it at his friend's face.

but the whole sex scene involving the fat goth chick was disgusting.

Lutsee. I don't really like a lot of english horror movies (I know, that sounds so 'Japanophile' of me, but Asian horror is supreme)

I do like Cannibal Holocaust, as it had some real on screen animal killings (The beauty of 70's cinema) and of course cannibals.

Ed Gein was ok.

I like a movie called 'Three...Extremes' which is three movies put together. But I just like the first movie because it has fetus dumplings.

Phone is a nice one.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is far better than it's remake.

Agreed. It was way creepier. Confused

I think I may have remembered that movie.

_________

Anywho, I think Hannibal was a really gross movie, The scene near the end - ew - the dinnertable scene where Hannibal cuts open this guy's head. Makes me want to puke every time. Shocked

The original blew it with the dinnertime scene. All that was missing was the Benny Hill theme.

The Ring and The Grudge. The sequals sucked. I don't like slasher movies, just the creepy suspense kind...
