The ball in Dusty Desert (As Silver)

Sonic experts, I'm at the end of my rope. I need help.

I can't get the countdown ball into the last hole without ruining the technique! This is in Silver's Story in Sonic the Hedgehog, at the end of Dusty Desert. I desperately need help. How can I get that ball into the last hole without letting fall somewhere else?

One month and no replies? This is not a trick question, I need some help. Because this may be the most difficult task in Silver's story.

I don't know, because I don't have that game. Do what I do when I'm stuck, though. Google a game guide. Just google something like [game title] guide or go to a site like gamefaqs or ign. there are usually comprehensive guides to the stages.
