Does anyone have any favorite movies they liked when they were kids and they still watch them? I know I'm one of those people! I liked both: "Goosebumps" movies and "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movies while I was growing up, heck, my tapes still work, and I still watch them! My favorite Goosebump Movies happen to be: "Welcome To Dead house", "A Night In Terror Tower"(Mainly because they go back to the Middle Ages! Wheee! Razz) And "The Haunted Mask1"...what about the rest of you all? You had to have liked something!

That I still watch? Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was a weird kid, shaddup. Blame daddy. Hm... Fievel Goes West and Fern Gully, though I haven't watched those in a long time. But Fern Gully is da best. Cool

Got a whole big cupboard full of Disney movies, but I haven't watched them in years n' years.

Surprised No! I don't even like most fantasy stuff with fairies n' talkin' animals n' crap. But FernGully was twisted n' freaky enough. Besides, everyone loves Batty.

Terminator

And, uh.......

The Ghost Breakers with Bob Hope.

Ghostbusters

Die Hard

I caught 'em on T.V a few times, well, the first and last ones.

Hmm... I'll have to split this up into categories:

1 - Movies I liked as a kid, and still do
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I finally understand the ending now.
...

2 - Movies I liked as a kid, but don't really like (nor hate) these days:
Transformers: The Movie. But these days, all I notice is that the soundtrack is so loud it drowns out most of the action.
My Little Pony Movie. We used to watch just about everything together, back in the day. Haven't seen it since then.
Care Bears Movie. Same reasons as the MLP movie, we loved it back then. Today though, I recognize the sheer silliness of ancient curses enacted through dart-board poetry. The near-destruction of Care-A-Lot is worth it though.
The Dark Crystal.
...

3 - Movies I liked as a kid but absolutely hate now:
(nothing comes to mind)

Hey I remember Fern Gully! My Dad and I used to watch it all the time. I had this Minnie puppet, and my Dad would make it move, so everytime Hexis (or whatever his name was) may Dad would make his voice really high and pretend he was the Minnie puppet and scream. It was so funny, I used to love that.

I remember I used to watch a Muppet Christmas Carol every Christmas with my cousin. I still do, in fact. Laughing

Oh! Oh! Labyrinth! Of course my attention shifted from thinking Jareth was the best character because he had the best songs and lines and was just cool to...uh...nice pants, dude. But Jareth the Goblin King is still the best character of any kids movie ever. Almost the best character of any movie ever.

Amazing no one ever really notices the pedophile side to the movie, though. S'all innocent enough, of course, but "Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave..." Mmhm, yes you will Jareth.

Wow... I still love little kid's movies, especially Disney... here's some of them...

The Lion King - I was about 12, but hey, that's still a kid!! I was obsessed with that movie, my brother an I would watch it over and over again, and choose characters and recite the movie while we watched it... I still LOVE that movie to death...

The Land Before Time - It's such a good movie!! Can you believe they made 10 sequels?? It's soo sad

Fern Gully - I love that movie, especially the music... and Batty rocks!! I can sing most of the Batty rap...

Tiny Toons - It was child/young teen Looney Toon characters, for anyone who doesn't know... my brother watched How I Spent My Summer Vacation soo often... and this one that had them singing along to these 70's-ish songs...

An American Tale - such a good movie!! I love Tiger!!

Uhh, I'm sure there's more, but I just can't think right now... my brain died...

The Little Mermaid, Tarzan and The Lion King. The Lion King was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. It brings back some fond memories of my childhood.

I loved Jurassic Park. I still do. I've always had this thing with dinosaurs. Heck, I still have the little plastic dinosaurs that were on the cake at my forth birthday.
Anyhow, I forgot how old I was when I saw Jurassic Park II (10 maybe?), but I was eating beef jerky while watching it. During the part where one guy was torn in half by two T-Rexs fighing over him, I started tearing at my jerky pretending to be a dinosaur. I was a sick, sick little kid. WTF?

I remember renting Furn Gully over and over from the video store. Yay for tree huggers! (Yet I enjoyed seeing that man torn to shreads by dinosaurs. Odd.)

a couple disney movies i'll still watch, but really only aladdin, beauty and the beast, and toy story. mulan's cool, too. i like the newer ones of shrek and finding nemo, but those weren't movies from when i was a kid so i guess they don't count

i loved fern gully, we're back!, anastasia, labyrinth, the dark crystal, a little princess, pollyanna, the parent trap (the original with hailey mills), and the wee sing videos (sillyville, big rock candy mountain). umm can't think of any more...
