Thanks to this new section of FAC, I'd like to share my favorite cartoons with some of you. I'd like to start with my favorite one:

A Pup Named Scooby-Doo

Scooby-Doo returns, as a frisky, yet skittish, puppy, and his friends Shaggy, Freddy, Daphne, and Velma as 12-year-old sleuths, known as the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency. In this 'toon, Scooby and the kids investigate various mysteries, most of which take place in the city of Coolsville. such as a bike theft, disappearing Scooby Snacks, a house with an evil babysitter, and a terrible Totem pole.
Scooby was the puppy, but if faced with a monster, he gets scared.
Shaggy was the beginning voice of every episode, and probably shared the same fact for Scooby.
Daphne was the spoiled and vain rich girl who would call out for her butler Jenkins.
Freddie was the complete goofball and repeatedly accused the new character, Red Herring of every crime (in later episodes Red would show up from unexpected places just to tell him he didn't do it). Velma was the quiet girl, except for her trademark clue spotting word, "Jinkies"... that was until the mystery was completely solved, then she had a lot to say.
Rock 'n' roll chase scenes were introduced for each villain, and Scooby and the kids (and sometimes the villain) had danced. Every time a monster appeared, special effects such as eyes buldging, jaws dropping, and horns honking would go into effect. Scooby and Shaggy's superhero alter egos were Commander Cool and Mellow Mutt.

Any fans of this 'toon?

No fans of this 'toon? No one remembers the running gags such like,

Man: "Sorry, I can't fix the camera until I come home from work."
Scooby" Rome rom rurk?"
Man: "No. Home from work."

Scooby: "Whipped creamed him? Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, HA ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... I don't get it."

Red Herring: "That's not very funny!"

Announcer: "We interrupt 'A Pup Named Scooby Doo' for this special announcement."

Velma: "Jinkies!"
Freddy: Velma said "Jinkies!"
Daphne: It must be a clue!

Hope these help.

It was super-fun! I loved the Cheddar monster episode when it wanted to deplete all the world's stores of Scooby Snacks. I also loved the episode with the Totem Pole monster always sayIng, "GET OFF MY LAND!"

I still love it because I have all 7 DVD volumes, which each volume had 4-5 episodes in chronological order. That means "airing" on TV in order. Do you have any volumes?

On March 18 the complete first season will be released. Anyone looking forward to it?
