When Did You Start Drawing?

Hay everyone...Im just wondering on when did you fellow artists start to draw?

I started to draw when I was 4 years old...ahh them were the days.... when staying in between the lines was a big thing.

I've enjoyed doodling as long as I can remember, but I didn't really develop an interest, a forte, until about five years ago. I picked up an interest in dragons after playing and enjoying the [i]Spyro the Dragon[/i] game.

How long have I been drawing? Well...probably since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Razz

Nowadays I'm always doodling any time I can get my hands on a pencil (or any other drawing utensil for that matter).

well i remeber when i was like four and my sister drew really good and i asked her if she would teach me and she taught me some stuff and she all ways said to get as good as her i was to practice. well i'm a rather shy person so i used alot of my time in school to draw. and now i am actualy better that her ain't that funny.

drew my first 3 picture comic strip when I was in 1st grade (5yo). it was about a new Micky Mouse gum ball machine commercial on TV. I changed it to the "scumball machine." been drawing my own chars since 10th grade. thats when I invented my first two "ToniBo" and "DaBear", been drawing them for 27 years now! :rolleyes:

I invented my four main characters (Angels):

I started drawing when I was about 4. Never took any classes or courses either, I learned everything myself.

i started drawing when i was 3-4yrs old .. doodling kind - of .. lol ! holding the crayons and scribbling some super derformed people is super deformed worlds... lol !! i started all alon too never took any classes learned everything all alone, i watched anime since i was 4 yrs old , Dr.slump and ranma 1/2.. and others so i copied from it till i learned how to draw good , my brothers used to play mario , and i LOOOOVED mario that time so mario was the only thing i draw, i love yoshi too ..and i draw him alot too !! i loved drawing mario charecters !! i did this picture when i was 6 yrs old lol .. i treated it as 1 of my masterpieces. hey dont laugh .. lol ............. if u dont kno whats that ,, thats bowser trying to kidnap princess peach and shes shouting help!! Razz

Lots of doodling since I was little. No serious effort up until around 5 years ago, then a year of nothing, then the flood of band boy stuff 3 years ago.

Been doodling since pre-K.I made a kablam comic when I was about 5 and it wasn't half bad.I started to want to draw in the 6th grade but then in 7th grade iI didn't practice as much but in 8th grade I was always drawing^^

I doodled around when I was about 5. But I started really drawing when I was 8 or 7.

I know i started drawing when i was really little but i know i wanted to draw because i wanted to be like my mom. She paints alot and is a really good artist and i always wanted to draw like that.

i really got into drawing in 1st grade with a friend of mind... been doodling since then... i took a drawing class and realised i was being dumb not practicing more because i have stopped all together pretty much during middle school.

only have time usually in school so i take a class and the teacher lets me mess around... usually i put more effort in then... less distraction i guess.. hummm

i like hearing from everyone else ^_^

eh..I started drawing back when I was in the 6th grade, but my drawings all sucked back then, but as I got into anime more, I became a little better...at least I think so... ^_^

1st grade is probably when I started actually drawing. I really liked to draw dinosaurs.
