I rented Fruits Basket anime from the library and watched it today: It's pretty stupid. -___- my little sisters liked it.

I much prefer the manga version, myself. More in depth... there're a lot more volumes, too.

To be honest Death Note was also a terrible anime. It just wasn't made for anime format. When I watch anime, I want to see some movement and action, not long dialogues. I'd much rather read a dialogue.

Oh, and the Death Note dub is one of the worst things to ever hit my ears, although that's not really the fault of the anime.

FLCL - I hated it. It was the most pointless, confusing, stupid piece of crap I had ever seen. And they "animated" the manga pages during the anime.

Naruto - To be fair, I only watched about 3 episodes. But from that I can summarise the series, here goes: Ninja ninja ninja, ninjas wear headbands, ninja ninja, "I'll use my awesome [insert jibberish word here]-Jutsu!", ninjas, villages, shurikens, "It takes more than a headband to be a Ninja!" but for some reason all the 1337 ninjas wear headbands and Naruto wears BRIGHT ORANGE. BELIEVE IT!!!"

One Piece - Just crap. Like Naruto, it involves a hyperactive little boy shouting and screaming, and not much else.

Magical Doremi - I only watched the first episode, and it took forever to say nothing go nowhere.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (I think I spelled it right) - Again, I couldn't make it past the first episode. Just bad. My brother likes it, though.

Haruhi is the shittiest piece of shit to ever shit in my direction.

I've noticed that a lot of things that people think suck are series that suffer from DBZ syndrome, i.e., shit that's over 2-3 seasons when it doesn't need to be but the creators decided to add in as many useless villains and plot deviations as they possibly could (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, InuYasha, etc.). A series starts to lose its luster once it starts gaining "arcs".

I happened to like FLCL, though it got confusing at times. Confused

EDIT: Yeah, Touzoku-joou, I know what you mean. I love [i]InuYasha[/i], but it had a lot of "filler" episodes that served no purpose (like the epsiode where Shippo battles that little girl demon and he gives her his crayons), and many things are left unfinished by the last episode. They didn't even defeat Naraku properly, and InuYasha still hasn't collected all the shards and used them.

I hate Naruto..... and Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. I like the first series *including season 0* and don't mind GX, but I just HATE YGO 5Ds.

A lot of the anime brought over to the states or to be dubbed are horrible. personally I've come to enjoy more obscure anime that not to many people have heard of like Akikan and Dokuro chan. things like naruto and death note are alright tho..at least thewy dont try to hard..and the english va's are decent. but then you get shit like the first negima. multiple errors in the animation and shit voice acting, and to top it off they dont even follow the manga properly. and if anyone wants to baww bout my grammar or whatever go right ahead, its 1am and i've been working all day so you can all eat my nuts. people get tired deal with it. /unnecessary rageing/bawwing

Yes powerpuff girls was indeed awsome (I can do a good Mojo jojo impression x3) but I meant that in the terms of Tokyo mew mew fighting crime and badness cause you dont see the bratz doing that. i like death note and i like tokyo mew mew, and i don't like bleach, but the reason naruto is my least favorite is not only the fact i didn't get into it, and it's not like i absoluteley loath the show, but it's the fact there's sooooooo many fantards and fanbrats cloging the tubes with all how much they lurves naruto and his buttbuddies. and the yaoi! oh, the yaoi! i love yaoi but there's so much naruto yaoi it's horrible! in my opinion, the characters aren't even that hot!

all i can say is may be it's just a fad, and someday people will start making some actually pornographic hellsing yaoi just as much as they did naruto. i have been searching so much and only found one Sad
