Fate/stay Night

I've recently heard about the development of a Fate/stay night anime. !

Of course, being on quite a few Japanese sites looking for AIR/Kanon/Tsukihime stuff, I noticed that probably [i]the[/i] most popular PC game is Fate/stay night [infos here], a sort of fantasy lookin' game that's had so many fans, the demo copy of the game's been fantranslated into english already!

It's also by the same people who made Tsukihime, so I was pleasantly surprised, and I looked up the trailer for the anime (called "Fate/stay night: curtain raiser" if you feel interested in looking it up BT style; review/screenshots here). It looks so damn good so far. Amazing battle scenes.

Anyone else waiting for its release? :x

Hmm. Never heard of it til today. AIR and Tsukihime I've breifly looked into though.

From what I was reading about it, it sounds like it would make a pretty interesting anime. I was looking at some characters and screenshots and stuff. They're very intriguing.

lmao, I've known about it for a really long time (I play lots of Japanese PC games, what can I say? ), but I never bothered looking into it till a few weeks ago. xD It sounds pretty good, and I love the fantasy touch.

I watched the first episode a couple days ago. They're setting up the backdrop in this episode. Still quite a bit of suspense from that chick (lol, I forgot her name) and her Archer. Andd what's-his-face's power, too. :0

It's not as radical as Tsukihime's start, but it's turning out to be quite interesting, imo. :0

Anyway, We're already pretty far in, aren't we? I'm downloading episode ten (Eleven and Twelve as well 8D), apparently Shirou is on Illya's good side according to the episode 10 preview.. :B LOOKS LIKE AN AWESOME FILLER TO BE WATCHED. So excited~

About other things. Shirou's Macho Hero temperment (Yeah, I know, Kamen Rider wannabe ect ect. 8 really annoys me. Wtf, Saber is basically in exsistence to fight. :/ Not letting her fight is like not letting (Insert Sexual Comment about Rin and Archer here). Also, Shirou's eyebrows annoy me. So very much.

lol. I *just* found out today that Geneon has Fate/stay night "pre-licensed". :huh: Sounds a little weird to me; they should just... licence it fully? Weird. I don't quite understand.

Anyway, I really want to play the game. I hear there's RPG like qualities to it - someone said they couldn't get past the first battle with Ilya and Berserker, so it sounded like it a bit. :X

Well, from looking at the link you supplied i was a bit worried at first by the artwork. It at first seemed a little to plain but when you go down to the bottom of the page and see the clips, some of them hint to a better affect of it. So i'm hopeful.

Although it will be very heard to ever amount to Tsukihime Lunar Legend. The storyline there was really good ^_^

I'm almost 100% sure they're two totally different people-- True Assasin is distinctly nigra, Archer's more Ganguro/China/thing.

Geneon did that with the Ichigo Mashimaro anime as well, It's because the USA branch did work on it and because of that they want to bring it to NA.

Bump once again!

Despite my immense dissapointment that the anime didn't go all Heaven's Feel scenario on us in the end, I thought it was a pretty good series! The ending was one of the best, emotionally charged episodes in the series. I found how Shirou didn't let his life fall to pieces after the loss of his servant admirable-- He made it clear that he was hurt, and yet he found the strength to go on. I guess that's always a good trait for a hero to have. The ending made the anime worth it.

My complaints about the anime adaptation are that they left a few very important things unexplained- Sakura and Rin's relationship, why Ilya suddenly got sick and probably some other thing I don't care to remember. :< That and they kept repeating information about the holy grail war, and not focusing enough on what makes Fate/Stay Night great- The characters and their relationships.

So, yeah. What do you guys think? Good, Bad, Geneon was stupid for licensing it?

Yeah. It made me glad that Shirou didn't cry. It was a sweet ending; they both knew what each other wanted to say without saying it. Tops.

It's a great site, It has synopses of every scenario, Servant info ect ect. I use it for quick reference more often than I'd like to admit for when I'm discussing certain things on the Fate board I frequent. :v

I was bored. Fate/Stay night is the first new anime I've watched in 1 1/2(+?) years.

PRETTY GOOD SO FAR. Just got to 14, where Archer fucks Berserkers shit up, before ;-; commences.
