Recurring problem is getting worse

For a long time now, I have been unable to reply to any comments on my own profile. Every time I try, it automatically takes me back to the main page. Now, the problem has spread not only to comments other people's profiles, but the comments on pics as well!

Could someone PLEASE fix this? I would rather not have to find somewhere else to post artwork, since FAC is easier for my computer to navigate.

Yes, that is bad design. The problem is the inclusion of a <base> attribute on every page. There was a reason for that, given, but I'm starting to think the unwanted side-effects (such as the nasty redirect problems) outweigh it.
