What was your first anime you have ever seen?

Which is your fave anime?

Out of all the anime characters created which is your fave?

For me, the first anime I ever saw was Sailor Moon and that is still my favorite anime ever. My all time favorite anime character is Sailor Saturn, mainly cause I feel I relate to her more.

ahhh my first anime...as with ami it was sailor moon..and it was my faveorite at the time..i was like 9 i think...then Inuyasha came to the states and I was like WHOOPWHOOP lol. but my faveorite anime would have to be Cardcaptor Sakura. pure genious it is.. and my faveorite character is obviously Sakura kinomoto ^_^

Yeah, I like CCS too. Sakura's good. I also kinda like Toya and Kero.

First anime I saw was yu yu hakusho back when it was on Cartoon network after school. This was before the series got all dark and violent of course ( I still can't believe they put that on, I was 9!)

My favorite anime is Full metal alchemist, greatest thing since sliced bread that.

Favorite anime character is Scar from FMA, sad tortured characters with great strength work well for me. guess that's why I like wolverine.

eh... I still like FLCL because I remember it, it's been such long time since I watched anime of some kind. I'm gonna stick to movies rather than series, less likelihood of stepping on dogshit that way.

meh, I suppose, but I enjoy series rather than movies, I get to watch the characters interact longer, deeper plots, the general idea that you need more time to tell a fully fleshed out story. too each his own.

The thing is, long running series usually shit up around 26 episodes.

Something that is 26 is usually great.

50+ gets to the 50/50 rate

Anything that runs for more than a year is trash.

Pokemon is a kids show that follows an episode outline over and over again. It's like Blue's Clues, or Barenstien Bears.

Poor ash, he will never be the pokemon master, he should have read the fine print when he signed the contract xD

Also what's up with the new hybrid rip off show Bakugan? Seriously?!
(Looks like a rip off of Pokemon and Yuigoh as in tons of weird monsters and its a game you play with items and traps etc)

LOL, I said the same thing at lunch today. I noticed that there was a manga picture on the back of my milk cartoon and I was like, "Oh my God, there's a manga picture on here! There's- Oh. It's Bakugan." It's almost a mix of Digimon, Pokemon and Yugioh. P;

Although it's hard to make something completely original, I would much rather have something a little different from Pokemon and Yugioh come its way to America.

Indeed, I almost DIED when they made Dual Masters, oh my god at first I thought that was a slapstick show poking fun at yugioh then I realized "Oh my god they are serious?!" thank god they killed that show fast xD
Only thing I liked from that show were the well drawn cards with the awsome quotes.

When I saw Yugioh I completly forgot about Pokemon Very Happy

I have a collectible Marik Ishtar figure, 2 of the 3 model toy gods (Slifer and ra) the movie, ALL of the battle city dvds, uncut DVD of "Stolen! Blue eyes white dragon!" A yami pillow, nearly every yugioh card in existance (including the gods and limited edition Exodia, all peices) and a handmade Millenium Rod...yeah I wasent obessed at all :3

for some reason, I enjoy yugioh, its strange because for a while I detested it. To begin with I had never played the game and didn't really understand it but as i became aware of the strategy it was more appealing. I would agree that pokemon is much more childish in nature and is frequently repeating itself. that being said, the aspect of yugioh i dislike is when it tries to create story and character developement, I really just want to see how the card game plays out. you don't need a reason.
