thats what i mean make a 2D sequel to SOTN but using all the bells and whistles that they could do on next gen.
Castlevania is a 2D series if they really wanna do a 3D one then they really take the time to evaluate what kind of game they wanna make and realize that if they wanna make it good its gonna have to be completely different from the 2D ones.
They already did that on the portable games. Believe me. Throw them on a PC emulator, and pretend you're playing a 360 or some shit.
i ment 2d one for the console not handhelds i dont play very much handhelds anymore.
Again, see Harmony of Despair
I liked Order of Ecclesia. Aria of Sorrow was pretty good, too. I need to play more Castlevania games. Luckily, I have friends to mooch off of--- I mean borrow games from.
I love Aria. I like Order, but it's probably my least favorite of it's kind. Too little exploration, and the glyph system felt weird overall. |

ZOE2 is less than 5 years old. You're basing a stereotyped opinion on one game. If you want a gameplay heavy game from him recently, go with Portable Ops.
I'd go play SOTN again, or one of the other castlevania's but my brother doesnt lend his games out.
If you have a computer capable of running an internet browser, you can probably download visual boy advance and a Castlevania Double Pack ROM and play Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance in the next ten minutes.
Also, SoTN's been re-released like a motherfucker. It's on PSN and Live for like, $10, and is bundled in with Rondo of Blood. |

Then buy a copy. It's only like, $25 or some shit, which is a lot less than most new games. Or even most used games. |

If the stores I went to over here were any decent; I would have it by now. But dont have any playstation format games. Only ps2. And the gamestop in the columbia mall stopped selling playstation games, and no doubt the one in bloom probly has too, besides why BUY it when I could borrow it from my brother? Hell you wait, I'll convince him to let me borrow it. I've done it before with Orphan Scion of Sorcery and Legacy of Kain Defiance. _________________ Our life is made by the death of others...

funny i thought it came out 2003, so its like 8 years old.
my opinion is not based of one game but more or less 3 games
MGS2, MGS3, MGS4 but yeah it still mostly pertains to MGS4.
and i love portable opts. _________________

MGS3 was INCREDIBLY gameplay heavy. Far more so than any other game Kojima has ever made. You had so many options for fucking around and doing what you wanted. MGS2 less so, but you still had tons of options. MGS4 is the only game Kojima really did that limited you, and most of it was for the sake of presentation, which, given that that was a clear focus from day one, is understandable. |

It's funny cuz the only lines in all the script of any Metal Gear game is as follows:
"Metal Gear." "METAL GEAR!" "Metal Gear!?" "METAL GEEAARR!!!" "METAL GEEEEEEER????" "MEDOL GERE!!!1"
Repeat 9001 times and you've got yourself a story dang it!
Now make about 6 more.
I think Metal Gear was actually meant to be a movie.
Also,

Tyler and Pyro are right, Sarah is the dumbest person I know.
I wrote this before I even read this thread. I'll change it if I am wrong.
Edit: Nope, I wasn't. Return to your original programming. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |
