Yeah decided to toss this up. I've deeply missed this series and im glad they put it back up. And nicktoons is doing a good job IMO on going easy on the censoring. After all Yaemcha (I think that's his name, tis the guy with 3 eyes.) loses his hand from the elbow down when facing Nappa, and they didnt cut this out. But they ARE censoring, after all I doubt Goku and Raditz get bruises on their abdomens when Piccolo blasts them with his attack. (I'm thinking they got blasted through the gut and a hole was left there.)

But anyway, this gives me time to catch up on what all I have missed, because when I started watching the show, I came in during the Cell Saga and was completly lost.

And it was this show that came before the 'bankai' by the way. And it's not only inspiring animes either, look for yourself. xD

They're redoing DBZ? I didn't know that (since I can't get American cartoon channels here in the majestic land of Canadia). I thought the old one was decent, but then again I've never seen the original and I'm mostly just comparing it to other dubs and the Chinese dub.

The guy with three eyes is Tien Shinhan.

Yup, I had a feeling they would try to redeem DBZ after the crap fest that was the DBZ live action movie. T_T (They are going to make ANOTHER! noOOOOOoooooOOO~!)

I am enjoying it greatly. Pretty much since my bf saw it from the very beginning, he says they are speeding it up, cutting out the long stare down scenes and unesscessary scenes etc.

And yeah, it was that fella; I get the names confused sometimes...well except for Vegeta, Goku, and Piccolo along with King Kai, those are the names I can recognize right away with the faces, and of course easiest yet most unexpected name, Trunks. xD (Yes I sniffed out a bishi even in THIS series...and his hair's silver; go figure.)

But out of all my fav characters, Vegeta is my hero, Goku coming in a close second.

I'd have to say that so far i'm liking this series simply because they cut it down A TON from the original as far as episodes go. My only real con about it is that some of the voices done for some of my favorite characters have been changed, Gohan being one, not really too sure i like his new voice actor compared to his original english dubbed one.

Stephanie Nadolny is his original VA as a kid and his teen years, kid goku, and a few other characters on the show, then as an adult he was played by Kyle Hebert, I actually got to meet him one year at an anime convention in South Dekota. He also voiced Kiba from the naruto series and quite a few other characters in various shows.

Ah, I THOUGHT I recognized Kiba's voice. (I know cause I played alot of DBZ budokai 3 back in the day xP)

No, no christopher sabat but i met Kyle Hebert, Crispin Freeman, Laura Bailey, and even dandy lion head himself Mr. Johnny Yong Bosch, he's also a good singer too, has his own band and everything.

Although Kai comes waaaay close, nothing will ever beat it's original.

I'm partial to Galic Gun, that or Majin Vegeta's super attack...that is if I complete the attack in Budokai 3 and dont end up killing myself.
