Can't comment, restricted profile but on watchlist.

Yeah, recently my friend restricted her profile for her reasons that are stated on her profile. But when I go to comment my friends profile the comment box is there but when I click submit it says "Access Denied, your not authorized to comment here" or something like that. I am on her watchlist too. I know it shouldn't be doing this.

Is this a bug? Or something on my end?

It looks like your email isn't validated (or the authorize page is bugged).

I mean I can comment everywhere else, submit pictures etc. Just not comment on my friends profile while she has it restricted. It doesn't even tell me its restricted like it would on other profiles.

Happens with me too, or used to when I would post on my friend xshadowsxchildx's profile that was also restricted.

I don't know why this is being weird. I restricted my profile so that people wouldn't spam me with random hi's and "join my contest" requests.

I really don't want to unrestrict it so that other people can comment again as well because I had it locked for a reason. Ami and SonicnTails are both on my Watchlist, and I do not have them blocked and my e-mail is validated as well.

And Sarah, I do have both their IM names, but I want them to be able to comment my profile if they have to tell me something when I am not online and I don't like responding to e-mails.

Hmm, I'm running out of ideas -- oh, wait, hold on a sec: Are those the EXACT WORDS of the error message? I cannot stress how important it is to report error messages exactly as they were received, no rewording, no interpretations, just copy-and-paste.

I may have found something, but I need to confirm that you're giving the exact error message first.
