Blocked members unable to vote on a user's picture?

*Points up to title* Can this be made possible? Not for me but to prevent further trollage of users trying to keep their stalkers at bay.

Also if a picture is voted too badly on can it get removed? Cause yeah, no wanting to re-scanning the pic because of this.

The effect of voting is basically limited to the "Popular (Votes)" gallery sort option and the snapshot shown on your profile page. (It is also a factor used when selecting Popular and Recent submissions for the mainpage.)

It is completely anonymous (for now) and serves no other purpose; pieces can [i]only[/i] be removed by the submitter or a moderator, and in both cases it [i]must[/i] be done manually by that person.

The comment blocking system does [i]not[/i] block voting and probably never will.

I thought users couldn't see their votes. Is the troll telling you he/she is leaving you bad votes?

From what Emrys told me via PM, Sarah managed to offend one user somehow, who is currently rallying all their friends to vote down on all of Sarah's uploads.

Users and staff members have access to the overall score assigned to an individual piece, but the actual, individual [i]votes[/i] are confidential.

But we do need a tool to give this system some oversight, so that we can tally up a user's voting hsitory and soforth.

No you don't. If you give users the option to vote something up or down, you can't punish someone for voting one way or another or use someone's voting record against them. Perhaps you could let the artist turn voting on or off for particular pictures, but really, voting is so unimportant that making that feature would probably be a waste of time.

I don't mean the ability to [i]change[/i] votes, and not necessarily the ability to see the exact votes themselves. I just mean being able to see more details than just the overall aggregate.

I dont mind anymore no, just that I wish trolls would stop doing this for the lolz, really is something that gets others angered. I dont care anymore considering my picture in no way is in risk of getting taken down.

okay this is where my lack of caring comes in... said same little girl said something to me about my art sucking in the comment part... i just hit the delete button because i've had too many people tell me that i've done a really good job and or, tell me particular details i can improve on... seriously... if you're happy with your own art, who cares what a troll or a 'tard thinks?

I mean really, why hate on the REST of the person's art just because they drew a few pics of a character you like with their oc. Aint nothing but trouble going to get caused cause of that. Or you'll get laughed at. I know it was this girl too because 1: big Jealous the envious fan 2: her buddies left rude childlike statements on my art. One of them calling me a skank in my "awake and alive" picture. Yeah real mature. e.e
But I blocked all her little groupies so they cant leave immature statements anymore. =p
After all I'm preventing them from getting into hot water by trying to insult me. I luffs that block button, keeps trolls from trolling. xP
