Yeah so a whole bunch of stuff has happened between then and now. Deadpool is supposedly more close to his comic book counterpart and reviews of the leaked script are positive touting the proposed film as a kind of ultra-violent comedy, like kick ass but funnier. But Fox will probably F it all up or Ryan Reynolds busy schedule will keep this film in development hell. and the attached director only has experience with commercials and music videos.
