Tegan And Sara

Well, since I didn't get to go and see their concert, because I was working and such, I went out and bought myself Tegan and Sara's brand-new CD, So Jealous, yesterday... I also bought their most recent CD after that, If It Was You... *grin* so I guess it kinda made up for it...

So anyway, there really is a point to this... I'm curious to see if anyone else has heard of Tegan and Sara... theiy're a couple of young women, twins, from Alberta, Canada, and they are one of my favorite bands of all time... if anyone cares, you can check out their website... they have some pictures, and audio so that you can listen to their music, and some videos you can watch... I haven't done it yet, because they just got a new website up, but hey... yeah, if you do check them out a bit, tell me what you think...

Saw 'em last year on that "You Hear 'em First" MTV segment. Wasn't impressed, but they're better than most of the pre-packaged crap out there.

I admit, they aren't the best artists out there, but at least, you're right, they aren't like most of the pop crap out there... they at least write all their own music, lyrics, help in production and play quite a few instruments... something rarely seen, it seems, by young women in the music industry... and they don't dress like sluts, which is always worth a lot in my book... I also happen to like some of their older stuff better, from a few years ago, but hey...
