I read the FAQ thread and I found how to post fanfics. It said to put it in RTF or HTML format. I put mine in RTF format (which is Rich Text Format, right?) and I posted it.
Error message: (none)
No error message came up, really. But when I went to look at it, it didn't show up! I've looked at countless other threads for answers so I wouldn't have to annoy Strata, but I just can't figure this out. If you want a link, here it is: http://www.fanartcentral.net/stories.php?sid=7421
Please help. Any advice would be appreciated. (And Strata, please don't be annoyed, I'm really sorry if you hate newbies and stuff, but I'm REALLY sorry) |

Okay, it's official, I think I need to cut back. :lol:
You're not that annoying.
The chapter uploads are a rather new feature in general, so expect that bugs may occur.
In the meantime, save your document using HTML format. If you learn HTML yourself, then you can write it in any plain-text editor, even Notepad or Wordpad.
Basic HTML uploads properly. Not perfectly (there are some spacing issues), but next to plain-text it's the best supported upload format as of yet. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I just need to know, what does HTML stand for? Because I looked for it and I didn't see anything that looked like it would be abbrieviated with HTML... |

HTML = Hyper-Text Markup Language.
If all else fails, learn to write HTML. It's not that hard, really:
bold
italics
underlines
Currently, if you just add HTML tags to a plain-text document it should upload fine. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

For fanfiction upload problems email the file, a link to the chapter (if anything successfully uploaded), and a short problem description to cstdenis@fanart-central.net
I'll investigate and try to fix the bugs. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |
