Well, i bought the game and i think it owns.
good: lots of stuff to do. custmization. stats. skills. and more.
bad: the whole game is a tutorial. the controls feel a little clunky. the radio is louder , so you can't hear anyone talking.
what do you think about it? |

Well they pay for a big soundtrack, so it'd be only natural to make it loud. But, I'll never touch the game. Cause it's against what I believe in... in videogames. however i think you've made an honest synopsis of the game. I read some reviews that give it 9.9 and say oh it's the best game ever made(they're not sucking sony's wang are they?). But that's all a matter of opinion. Sure it may be deserving of some high ranks, but I don't see how it'd be all La Bamba and s**t. Bigger and better yes, but to me it wasn't all that good in the first place. |

In my opinion... It's just quite possibly one of the greatest games ever made. I'd give it a 9.5/10 simply because of the lower than average graphics and VERY minor fps (frame rate) problems. But other than that it's insane! Never gets frustrating, wide variaty of everything, perfect control, RPG elements that don't get in the way and it brings back the charm of mindless killing from GTA 3 and VC. Great all-around gameplay and great all-around fun!
But honestly that will change when games like Metroid Prime 2, Baten Kaitos, Halo 2 and Half Life 2 find their way onto shelves this November. |

A glimpse into the future.... GTA 6 (place some quirky name that automatically makes you thnk of the Detroit/Chicago area) Ahhh, the new GTA is out... Should I buy it, or:
A) Gran Turismo 7.... Ah no need, you can race and customize cars in GTA 6
B) Tomb Raider 43.... nope, GTA's running and gunning mechanism is much better
C) Final Fantasy XIIIVXIIV... Naw, GTA lets you level you character up without the same old storyline (I'll eat my words for this...)
D) Halo 3 (delayed for God knows what reason this time)... Nope, GTA has a much wider variety of weapons to use.
E) Everquest 2 (The forbidden friut of the Looms raging against the dread lord of darkness expansion packs)... What? GTA 6 is ONLINE and you can INTERACT with ALL your friends in a real world setting and control turfs like a real gangsta, instead of fighting cute lil' bunnies to save the world?!
This is just a prediction. San Andreas will be the best game of the year, and only the hype monster Halo 2 will outrun it.... And more than likely, it won't be for actually being a better game than GTA. Just a popularity contest... Ahhh, damn you Halo, you've blinded the videogame public with your pretty visuals, and your use of vehicular combat. Damn you.-R |

Everquest 2 comes out tomorrow...
But seriously, Halo 2 is a MUCH better game than GTA:SA ever will be. It's a much more complete and innovative FPS game than the first Halo was, not to mention A LOT more fun. Sure you get to beat the shiznit out of whoever you want, but Halo is still... a LOT more fun.
There's way too much to mention, so I'll just leave you to research some of the kickarse features Halo 2 offers. Generally speaking, GTA:SA really feals like any other GTA game but with some new vehicles, weapons, etc. but playing as some black dude. Oh, and the customizable look and ability scheme isn't too bad either. Halo 2 really reinvents itself on a large scale, but mostly on the Multiplayer/X-box Live area. You've got the new ability to dual wield, and some pretty nifty new weapons and vehicles is all nice and dandy, but it's the Multiplayer factor that will make Halo 2 "God". First off you've got the single-out communications function which lets you communicate with only one other player. That'll be fun for boasting or trashtalking with your opponent or sending tactics commands between you and your teammate. You've also got customizable armor which you can create a symbol which other people can recognize you as. There's the new "clan" option which lets you and some friends travel around as a group to other games without having to individually join up the same game. This can be fun for playing with your friends all night or something. There's also new maps which don't just target two symetrical bases, but rather an "Attack" and "Defend" scheme. Improved graphics is a plus too (face it, GTA:SA doesn't have the "niftiest" graphics in the world...). These are just a few multiplayer functions you'll get to work with when Halo 2 hits the shelves in two days.
But honestly, I can seriously tell you that Halo 2 is MUCH better than GTA:SA. They're both GREAT games, but Halo 2 is a much better game in general. And will always be. Face it, we've been playing Halo for four years now, nonstop. How long do you think we'll be playing Halo 2?
I've played Halo 2, no worries. I live in the Northwest, anyway. Tomorrow I'll be going to Bungie's studio in Kirkland to have a "Halo 2 Lan Party" which will commemorate Halo 2's release the next day. So that'll be fun. ^_^ So there's my "$1.00-$0.98."
