As we all know, November is the month where all the major game companies release their blockbuster hits. It's also the number one selling month of all videogames (but more specifically, the week before Thanksgiving). So, here is where you get to let everyone know how cool you are by which games you'll be getting this week!
Here's a list of popular games already out (if you missed it last weekend) and a bunch of blockbuster hits destined to hit videogame history:
Half-Life 2 (Future PC game of the year, if not the game of the year.)
Halo 2 (Unless you've been living under a rock.)
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Most innovative FPS game ever.)
Jak 3 (Chicks dig him.)
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (Most beautiful game on the GC.)
Need for Speed Underground 2 (Great racing game sequel.)
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Future PS2 game of the year.)
Rumble Roses (Hehe.)
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (Sequel to the most influential FPS game ever made.)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Doesn't this take place... before 1 and 2?
EverQuest II (Most forgotten game in the world right now.)
Call of Duty: Finest Hour (Drive tanks and shoot people.)
The Urbz (Sims hit the suburbs!)
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 (Looks like a great tactical shooter.)
((Don't expect me to type like this occasionally, I just like to make threads I make "neat" and "tidy" so it's more... pleasing to the eye. Oh yeah, please let me know if I should add any more games to this list, I know that I listed the major ones that have been anticipated since their first announcement, but I don't know if there's any others I should add. But please, nothing silly like "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3" or "Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics."))
So tell us what you're going to buy! |

The only game I'm interested in right now is guild wars, actually, but that won't be out untill early next year. |

I really wish I could answer the question, but facts are I have no money to spend on games right now.
The latest game I purchased was Paper Mario 2 because I was really looking forward to it, and before that it was Sly Cooper 2 (in September or so) because I was looking forward to that. And before that, the last game I bought was Transformers (about in July or August, I forget), similarly because I wanted that one (I rented it), plus because the price dropped to $30.
The above said, this is the list of games I'm currently looking forwards to:
- Jak 2. Yes, the one that's been out for a year already. Reason: $20.
- Jak 3 - maybe. It all depends on how much I like Jak 2. My jury's still in deliberation over that.
- Ratchet & Clank 3. Sure I'd like to play it, but it can wait.
- Metroid Prime 2 - why not? I'm a little bit of a Metroid fan. I still wish they had the option for a 3rd-person camera though, 1st-person is cool, but just not the same....
- Legend of Zelda - I love the Zelda battle systems. To be honest, I'm not too keen on the totally realism style though . . . sometimes I like the more cartoony styles.
- Spyro: A Hero's Tail. I loved Spyro back when Insomniac was devloping it on the PSX, but lately... meh. I still have bad memories from "Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly", and the GBA titles Season of Ice & Season of Flame only make up for that somewhat, so I'll rent it when I can, but I can't predict whether it'll be any good.
- Pikmin: Yes, that one. I rented it once, a console RTS that's actually playable! No funky control schemes or anything. Also because it's $20.
- Pikmin 2: Maybe, depending on if I can beat the first Pikmin.
