Loz Cartoon?

Did anyone hear of the Legend of Zelda cartoon? Sadly, the show came out in 1980 and it was a failure. It only showed 13 episodes and it wasn't even close 2 the game!!! I only saw at least 3 screenshots of it. But from what I read, in each episode, Link always tries to kiss Zelda, but then Ganon comes and ruins it. I hope someday they will show a LoZ cartoon again, a more, up todate one, like maybe Wind Waker, Four Swords, or maybe Orcarina of Time!!! That would be a great cartoon!!!

How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.

Well, excuuuuuuuse me, Princess, but not only have I heard of the LoZ cartoon I've seen a couple episodes, yes it was bad, and I sincerely hope that if there is ever another LoZ cartoon it is nothing like the original.

Whenever Link is annoyed with Zelda (which is fairly often) he says "Well, excuuuuuse me, Princess," in this really obnoxious voice. That's why I said it at the top. Sorry, couldn't resist when I saw your name. ^_^ Actually, everything about cartoon Link is obnoxious. Zelda's alright though. She's got her head on straight and she can fight, so she takes up the slack for our not-so-heroic hero. The one ep I remember well involved Link getting knocked out of his body somehow by Ganon and Zelda is the only one who can see him. Turns out it's cause she likes him. It was kinda funny cause she finally agrees to give him a kiss while he's out of his body, then she walks right through him. There's also a Fairy called....Sprite I think. Navi by any other name....argh. Basically, it's good for a laugh or a good drinking game, but otherwise let it rest in peace.

If anyone is interested, it was released on VHS a while back, one ep of Zelda with one ep of a Mario cartoon. Which also wasn't good.

It owned. All the kids were watching it. And the mario cartoon too. It just fit very well in the era, where all the cartoon were really bad and were made for selling toys.

Captain N, now that was awesome! With megaman, en simon belmont, and kid Icarus. And motherbrain!

Yeah that's what I remember but I dare not see it now, because my memories are probably not very accurate.

Not only have I seen it, but I own it! Look for the "Super Mario Brothers show: Greatest Movie Moments" on dvd, it has3 episodes of LOZ, and yes they are annoying, but if you like Zelda as much as I do, then...-R :ph34r:

the only episode i saw of mario cartoon was when yoshi joined a gang. it was so funny to see yoshis riding motocycles dressed in leather jackets.

I remember the Zelda cartoon ^^ and the mario one and the megaman one. I also loved Double Dragon, Biker Mice from Mars, and the X-men cartoon. Man cartoons these days aren't what they used to be...

And I completely agree with Megan, a OoT Cartoon would be wicked cool.

An easy way to beat Ganon!? Tell, tell!

Ok. The only thing you need is the hookshot(I so luv that weapon). You target onto Ganon's head(with your hookshot out) and go underneath his legs. Instead of the head being targeted, it's the tail. You shoot the tail with your hookshot, and then you repeat the process. When you get your sword back, you do the same thing, again!! Believe me, it really works. Try it something!!
