Yes, it's just past midnight, and I'm now officially 21 years old! Yes, this is all very important and should be your prime concern.

good point. First time I got drunk I was either late 14 or early 15. And I drank heavy booze for the first time when I was 16. In Holland it's not hard to get alcohol when you don't have the right age to buy it.
Once me and a friend were buying beer at the local supermarket cuz we would go sailing that afternoon with our class, and we liked some beer. The guy at the register asked me if I was sixteen (I was 15 at the time), so I answered "yes". Then the guy asked me if I had soemthing with my birthdate on it. I said I didn't (I really didn't btw). He asked if I had my schoolcard. I said I did, but that it didn't mention my age. Finally he said "well ok, then I'll have to believe you. Have a nice day.". OUr system is so corrupt. My friend btw didn't lie and said he was 15, so he had to hand in the beers.

lol @ Slet's story. Wow. I remember in the UK, my friend Daniel looked older, not by much but he looked 18 when he was 15. The victoria wine shop just down the street from my house, had bullet proof glass and bars all over the place, and i'm talking inside WTF? Yeah, not a nice town. But this one girl that worked there really liked him, and i mean she wanted to f**k his brains out Laughing So he'd go in and get us all our s**t. He'd even get some of it for free, or a nice discount Rolling eyes awesome s**t.

And if you guys come to the states *smacks forehead* i'm locking my doors

It's true that here in the UK it's easy for underage people to buy alcohol. But hey - I'm sure that applies to many other countries as well.....

If you're in the 17-20 age range, all you need to do is put gray streaks in your hair and PRESTO! Just walk into a liquor store, get some JD and walk out without even being carded! Fredryk did that before. Fredryk's cool. Obey.

I do believe, squire, you mean Absinth.

I had the UK's legal equivalent of Absinth, which, I believe to save confusion, is also named Absinth. It practically killed me Laughing (I'm no good at shorts)

...The REAL s**t, though, is from freakin' Russia or something. And yes, it is as good as you've heard. It makes you hallucinate and everything. Very strong stuff...

I doubt I'd try some, I'd be getting my stomach pumped faster than you can say "Why is that swan throwing things at me Sad "

Thanks for the correction.

Ok Slet, same question: have you ever had Absinth?

Vodka is my favourite drink by far, but the type we get in England isn't very strong. I want to try the Russian Vodka - PhunkYMunkY has convinced me I should! It's really, really strong.

Teh Russian stuff must be mixed in the firey bowels of hell by Beelzebub himself and no-where else. There is no other explanation.

The closest we can get legally is the blue label vodka. Triple distilled or something. Like Lynx Ultra or Stella Artois.. It's rocket fuel.

..Sorry, it is spelt 'Absinthe' not absinth.

I went to Fuerta Ventura a couple years back and tried a little bit of Sambuca.. I think I enjoyed it (this was at the time when I didn't drink often... It put me out like a light, hehe.. Probably made a fool of myself before I found a bed though I can't remember)

...Slet I saw that Goldstrike once or twice in the Off-License by mine..
It has shards of real gold in it, right? Or am I thinking of Gold-seam or some mad s**t like that

Not sure but I'd rather not eat gold lol Laughing
I'm more of a Rum man, myself. Bacardi + coke.. That or plain Kronenbourg1664 for me.. teh French beer is teh nice. Smile
