we've all heard them, and we've all held one dearly close to our hearts. "love songs?" you ask, well yes, they're everywhere! they come deep down inside the artist's soul to show is love and affection for that special someone. songs like "f**k you like an animal," "hey mister" and "hairy ballaz" are some of my favorites.
so what's yours? |

Caut away (i think it could be gone away) by cold. That one's been dedicated to me a few times these past few weeks that i've been goin to scary azz dances with wierdo preps and poser parrot look alikes...but, believe it or believe it, it was just a big joke. mean? yup. Pretty mean.
I also liked "still lovin you" by the scorpions. Not many people like them any more..... _________________ <MARQUEE>

Ok, let's see. Love songs. Now are we talkin' strictly "omg I luv u soooo much!" songs or can it just be about love? Either way...
"Sweet Child O' Mine" - Guns n' Roses. Shut up, I know it's lame and sappy, but Axl can get away with it.
"I Think About You" - Gn'R. It's right before Sweet Child. Same reason.
"Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" - Motley Crue
"You're All I Need" - Crue. Who doesn't love a psycho love song? Lovin' someone so much you kill them...
"Love's a Bitch" - Quiet Riot
"Love's Got Me Doin' Time" - Cinderella
"Where There's a Whip There's a Way" - Faster Pussycat. It's a love song...sorta.
"Little Dove" - Faster Pussycat

I could go on and on and on here, but getting away from the heavy metal stuff like "The Lemon Song" by Led Zeppelin, how 'bout a ballad from the ballad master Bruce Springsteen.....Incident on 57th Street (Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ).
I like how the guy gets it and gets out to go run with the boys down the street...so romantic. _________________ 'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.' - Ronald Reagan |
