Aiyaaaah! It seems like half the stuff in my sketchbook is unfinished...Don't you just hate that? I've been doing requests for people to help remedy that...that way, I have no excuse not to finish something.

Take my banner for example...it's a slice from a still unfinished picture of mine. It's been sitting around on my computer for months, with blotches of black and white smattering it. Why can't the dumb thing finish itself?!?! I wish I was like those great artists in the old days...just get somebody in your studio to do the tedious work.

Oh god, this is a big problem of mine! Half the stuff in mine is unfinished and forever will be! It's so annoying to. Same for my paintings. Such a waste. Makes me feel horrible for leaving things like that, wasting the money then not using what i got properly. But meh, just can't help it. Isn't like i mean to, right Sad

hehe ^^ totally know where you're coming from.

Usually if I don't finish a picture after a couple weeks, it stays that way. I tried breaking the habbit recently.
I had started "group picture" back in July but stopped after drawing the first girl.

October rolls around and I figured it didn't deserve such harsh treatment. I just penned in the girl and gave it a crappy background.

Hey ^^;;;;; it got DONE! lol just not with the original design I had planned

Laughing OMG, for the hundreds of pictures I have finnished, I have literally thousands I start (some with the intention of never compleating) but a good half of those will rot forever! I have two episodes of my comic rotting away half done and one just half baked!

Im listing to "The Kids are Allright" by The Who and it just reminded me of a picture of seven FAC kids I was drawing in my style to be called "FAC Kids are Allright." I remember months ago discusing the pic with the star of the thing (center kid) and saying some may get upset that their in it and some that their not. she told to do it and let all be pissed if they want....it sits and rots in my folder of unfinnished sh*t now too Sad

I have a new Angels picture started, to break from the candy coated and sex pics of late, to show all four with weapons a plenty giving OBL an up yours greeting card. But, I may just finnish that FAC pic too.....yeah right!

I just thought of something...unfinished art is bad for the earth! (you know, wasting paper kills trees and all that stuff)

Finish a picture and save a tree!

Man, I have so much stuff that's half or more completed...and just can't bring myself to do it. There's one of Nikki Sixx that would really only take another ten minutes, and I've yet to fill in that last little bit of black on his pants. D'oh. Unless I have a specific deadline, stuff usually takes months for me to finish (in one case it took well over a year). I still completely intend to finish the picture of Taime I was doing for his birthday...back in September Surprised . But maybe I'll just find the time to finish it in the next 9 months and go give it to him in person for his next birthday. Rolling eyes

I knew you would have to post here. anyone with as many pictures like youve described in the past must have a ton not finnished. only cause youd want to get the next on paper before you forget it.

I was going to do a realism, just to show how rusty I am, of Zep, AC, or some other rock star, so you could cut it up and tell me where I need to reimprove. here I go, another that will sit half done! I did post in scraps a ballpoint 10 minute sketch of female actress Lisa Raye I did in work. I hate working with that medium cause you cant go back and fix your botch ups, but then it really does show how rusty Ive become Uneasy

Ah, I know. I tried making a list once of all the stuff I wanted to do, in hopes instead of randomly starting something I could actually get one of my ideas finished, but the list just kept getting longer and my pile of unfinished stuff bigger, so I threw it away. Oh well.

Hm, half finished stuff...Let's see. Of what I can remember without going and looking:

Raine (request, will eventually be finished)
Nikki Sixx in straightjacket (all but the pants have been finished by now)
Vince and daughter Skylar
Brent Muscat as a young gay pirate (well not really, but that's what he looks like)
Axl Rose sitting against a wall
Motley Crue, background left to do
Drawing of a DA member
Taime Downe, for his birthday (Face, knee)
Steve Tyler and Joe Perry
Zombie painting...thing
Halloween painting
Big Robert Plant
Faster Pussycat group, which I should rescan and upload to scraps since Greg is done. And can now move on to Taime!
Phil Lewis
Ville Valo
Michael Monroe, probably just a small doodle that will go no further, but oh well

There's a bunch more, but that's all stuff that someday will be finished. Uneasy

All those are so cool. I command you finish them.

Forgot to add I have a set of commissioned KISS figures to make in the next couple days to get 'em where they're supposed to go before New Year's. Fun fun. Smile

Diathene those pictures are impressive. I love the the "assassin" picture. I cant wait to see the finnished product. oh, and that ToniBo is blowin' me away! I LOVE the little wings! I hope you dont mind if I use that shirt on her, its just so Toni.....

....and I loved the ink version you posted here on FAC. she looks even more gorgeous painted! that little winged shirt would go great on my latest idea of Toni on page 17 of the WIPs thread.

Diathene, if only my completed work was half as good as your unfinished stuff. Seriously. Yeah, I have a ton of unfinished junk, too. I blame inpatience and loss of interest... and the fact that most of my stuff is crappy to begin with.
