Love it. I've seen the live tour the last four or five years and met all but Wayne, since he doesn't participate. Really nice guys, on top of being hilarious. Plus, Jeff [Davis] gets to play more and really show what he can do. And the only time you'll see three fourth seaters all in the same game. Much fun. If they do it again this year (usually May-June), you should check it out. Then hang around the stage door. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Love it. But I still can't get the hoe-down out of my head where the last line was 'I'd rather have my penis dipped in gold'. Still - won't - leave - my - mind. |

I love this show. I always used to watch it anytime I saw it was on. Props is one of my favorite thing they did. Wayne Brady was crazy and was probably my favorite out of the bunch of regulars on the show. He's up to bigger and badder things, such as making white people like him because he makes Bryant Gumble look like Malcolm X (Chappelle's Show) |

Love it. Greg Proops is definitely my favorite. British version is the best. And for some reason tonight I can only type in short choppy sentences, ah well... Never was a big fan of Wayne Brady, I think he tries too hard and is really only there for the song games, but anywho. _________________ "I've got a sticky Darodo!"

The Brit version is on Comedy Central. Not as much as it used to be, but around 11am and sometimes late at night.

A girl after my own heart. No wonder we've got along so well for so long. Just gotta say, the Brad/Chip/Jeff combo wipes the floor with Wayne. As does any two out of the three... (my underlying message being there should have been two rotating seats ) _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Oh yes indeed. At least Brad, Chip, and Jeff focused more on being funny (and hot, but maybe that's just personal preference ). I agree 100% that there should've been two rotating seats; it gets old seeing the same thing over and over again. Especially when that same thing is Wayne Brady.
Kind of on the Whose Line Basis, anyone heard anything about the Green Screen show Drew's got going now? Did it not get aired or something? _________________ "I've got a sticky Darodo!"

Very hot. BUT, not the point (*cough*Jeff smells insanely good*cough*). I didn't see Drew's green screen show or hear any news about it. I assume it was probably dropped since it's been so long, or something fell through for him. Can't say I was overly thrilled with the concept. It's ok for a game, but not a whole show.
I did, however, see and tape all of Jeff's failed shows ( ). The Downer Channel was pretty good. It did little skits about all the crappy things that happen and annoyances. Unfortunately it was better suited to just a few shows than a whole series. On The Spot was better and (I think) could've turned into something really cool and different. For anyone who never saw it, basically every cast member was given a part and basic story line, but the whole script was improvised. The season they tried to get picked up (a handful of episodes were made and aired) was set in a hotel, so there was the hotel manager, bell boy, entertainment director, performers, etc. Really funny stuff. But being Warner Bros and not promoted much, it didn't get many viewers and was dropped.
Someday Jeff will have a show. More than playing Dartanian on the Drew Carey Show... "I must paint you..."
Personally I think Chip has it over any of the others when it comes to singing, anyway. Very much a broadway-esque performer. Brad's better at pop. Jeff (surprise surprise) kicks ass at the more rock n' roll stuff, but is just as good at other styles. With two rotating seats, he could've done more than four episodes. And he should've dressed normally instead of raiding Greg's closet. Black jeans and a New York Dolls t-shirt do wonders for the boy. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
