Basically, this topic is about our fanfictions.

Shut up. Anyway, this is about the stats of your fanfictions, for example, what Chapter are you on? Do you have any future projects? Have you a neat pairing in mind? Are your friends making you write fluffy fanfictions? Need to break writer's block? Are you stuck and need some advice on something? ((I didn't want to put this in the critiques because it's not just for advice. Razz

Its also for complaining about plot bunnies. ))

<_< doing an RP with someone that i'll convert into a fic (i've done this before, it's a great way to get new ideas and perspectives), have a few ideas for songfics (i've been looking thru j-pop lyrics too much lately..), and i need to write chapter 2 of this continuing fic i am forced to write.

I don't "do" fanfictions. I have many conceptual stories written up however, character concepts, plot lines, geometrics, all that good stuff. One of the few stories I've got cooked up is LotR-esque. Lots of complex situations, tensions, factions, countries, nations - all of it.

Basically the evil people (Merdhadians) are trying to reclaim what should rightfully be theirs - 1,000 years of lordship over the Kingdom. To do this they must purge the Kingdom's king (Jebehdi), lord of the Messians. This has all been prophisized by the Prophets, an isolated race of supernatural beings. The Messians must follow their king and defend their stronghold under all odds and protect their beloved king and people.

The story kicks into place when Gongal meets Zete. Gongal, a small elven tourguide, finds a lost compendium entiled "The Book of Time." Such a strong book in the hands of such a small, inocent creature. Without much to repay his debts to Zete (a straggly, sarcastic knight) by giving him this book. It isn't until later that they discover the secrets of the book - it is a written agenda of every event and every moment of the present and future, constructed by the Prophets. This is one hell of a book!

On his way to to Migril, the Messian stronghold, they meet up with various characters who aid and disrupt his journey. Others in aid of gaining trust and good recognition from the royal Messians (Zete is afterall a Messian) and others in search to snatch the Book of Time. It's secrets and knowledge are wanted by generals and kings everywhere across the Kingdom, such knowledge can fetch quite a pretty penny, even a seat in their seed of power.

I'm boring you guys aren't I? Well let me put this bluntly - the entire series is broken up into three books. I'll guide you threw them.

[u]Book I[/u]
Zete is given the Book of Time by a unruly elf tourguide on his jouney to Migril. The Merhadians are in peril however as their king and lord is becoming old and unable to govern the Kingdom. However no one will take his place, they know that the Merhadians are coming to attack Migril soon and they will do so with no mercy, smiting their king in a painful death as entertainment. The Messians fear the Merhadians, the Messian Army, the Messian King, the Messian people. No other representative from any nation withing the Kingdom can become the king either, it is a privilege reserved for the royal Messians.

Lucky for the Messians, Zete's journey is to travel to Migril and become king, that is until Balgroth, the Merhadian lord, takes note of this. He sends assassins and brutes to kill him before he reaches Migril. Zete is more than ready for them, having been trained by the Rigrol Thieves and Messian Army.

Why have the Merhadians taken a liken to their war driven lifestyle and destruction of the Messians? A long, long time ago before this age, when the elders of the land talk about before their elders were born, there existed a race of psychics. Each newborn of this race was blessed by the Godess with the power to see the future. Thus they were given the name "the Prophets." The Prophets, being shunned from the Kingdom by its populate, the Prophets took up isolation. They then created the Book of Time. It's contents are of the future of the Kingdom, evey thought and prophisization of every Prophet was recorded in this book. However, in the present time of this age the book has been opened, and it will be kept by the future lord of Migril - Zete. The Merhadians know what this book could cause, any change in events changes the stream of time. This could interfere with the Merhadian's prophisized thousand year reign of the Kingdom.

They shall not have this. Their plan is to strike Migril now and fast, defeat the Messians before they can ever unlock the Book's secrets. Before they can use it to counter their dark army.

Zete is passed the torch of the title, King of Men. His duty is to protect his people by any means necessary, and to construct the most powerful army to counter the fast approaching Merhadian army. This will not be an easy task, although the Messian army are brave and willing to sacrifice themselves to their lordship and people, they are simply not enough. The first seige of Migril begins.

((There's a lot more depth within the first book, as in the different teritories, races, diverse characters and motive of the Merhadians and Necropheres - powerful necrolyte warlocks who've dedicated themselves to the Merhadians. There's plenty of betrayal, diversity and action to fill anyone's needs.))

Seige after seige from the Dark Army strike Migril. Fortunately for Zete and the Messian army, they have fate and the will to survive on their side. It isn't long however until the Merhadians stop with their foolish waves of expendable underlings and go in for the kill with their brutes. The Messians need help, and help fast.

Zete, having sworn his liegance to protecting his people volunteers for his own army. He sends parties to travel to their allies in search of help. Zete's plan is to flank his enemies and deliver a strike against his enemie's army. It's risky, but it's proven to have worked for the Palidins of the East long before.

Their journey takes several months, in which the Messians sucessfully defend their stronghold. It's been several months that the Messian army and the Dark Army have been locked in a never ending battle, no rest, no recovering - just constant battle. The Messians have been becoming weaker and weaker compared to the Merhadian's overwhelming numbers. The First Crusade of the Searchers marks the end of the second book.

This is all I'm going to post for now, later I'll post some more. But again, I'm not into fanfiction, I'm into just plain old wholehearted fiction Smile

It spurrs the imagination and broadens the mind.

I'm not just into old medieval fantasy stuff, I write a lot of modern and futuristic fictions too. One involving a Resident Evil atmospheric plot involving genetically created organisms which turn carbon hosts into aggressive "vampire" like beings. Another involving a straggly international spy who does things "his way." (Much like James Bond in a more action packed, XXX type of way.) There's many others, too many to mention, but all totally original, totally concieved by me.

Two of my fics i have uploaded to my FF.net profile (see sig). The crossover fic I'm currently revising, and I've written about 2-3x what is currently available over there.

In general, I tend to write about 3000-5000 words per chapter.

I have about two fanfictions in the works: both are suffering from writers block. One has a definite sequel I need to plot out, and the other may have a sequel, only because a plot bunnie attacked me the other night. I also have another idea for an Inuyasha drama, but I can't start that yet...<.<

Most of my chapters tend to be between 6 or 7 pages, that's not too bad I guess. Most of them are split into four parts per chapter.

most of my chapters are around 1100-1500 words...short. <.<

except for the one-shot fics, which can get up to around 10-12 pages...

I've had really long chapters, like one that was 13 pages in Beautiful in Red. I am sooo stuck on what to do. Like I know what's going to happen next, I know what the plot is, I just don't have the insperation to type it all out...

But I've been popping out poems like there's no tomorrow.

i write poems alot when i'm reading through song lyrics, it's inspiring.

Detective Conan/Inuyasha: "The Movie"
"Reality Hopping Time!!" (Mainly deals with going through the Sailor Moon world, Futurama, Family Guy...Sealab2021..and maybe a few others...)

That's what I'm working on now, anyways...

i always try to shot for over 1000 words. i don't really get writer's block alot because i write one story at a time. sure it takes a hell of a long time but then no other stories distract me, and i don't forget my other ideas for my other stories because i write them down in my lovely blue notebook.

and I lost it....

Anyway it was a crossover between Sailor Moon and Inuyasha....

Yeah I know real sucky....

But I was in 5th and still reallyed love Sailor Moon and now I'm in 6th and realished the mistakes..........

It had a couple of pages.....

It was alittle good for me........
