Needless to say, I thought it was highly interesting. I don't normally post about religion, but thought you folks would enjoy this:

Jesus Christ , a Jew for Allah

Jesus a Jew by race, was a Muslim by religion, A Muslim is some one who Submits Their Will to God. This Is What Jesus Did and Taught.

Regarding the Islamic teachings of Jesus:

Jesus called God "Alayho" in Aramaic.

Jesus taught to rinse before Praying as Muslims do {John 13:10}

Jesus bowed down in Submission on the Ground to God as Muslims do {Matthew 26:39}

Jesus said, all of You who Submit your will to God, are my true Brothers and Sisters (Mark 3:31-35) as Muslims do.

Jesus taught Salvation comes from Submitting our will to God and Faith as Muslims do.

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" (Matthew 7:21-23)

Jesus taught that only God is All Knowing as Muslims do.
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in
heaven, nor the Son [Prophet], but only the Father [Creator]." (Mark 13:32)

Jesus taught he is just a servant of God as Muslims are:
"For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but
the will of Him who sent Me." [John 6:38]

Jesus said the word "Muslim" in Luke 6:40, and told others to be a Muslim:
Aramaic translated into Hebrew: "Ein talmeed na'leh 'al rabbo; shekken kal adam she'MUSHLAM yihyeh k'rabbo."

See: Islam from the Bible

Translation in English: "No student can be above his teacher, but everyone that is a MUSLIM, can be as his teacher."

In addition to the Bible confirming Jesus was a Jew for Allah, the Holy Qur'an also clarifies that Jesus followed Allah:

"And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden." {Holy Quran 5:116}

In conclusion, Jesus Christ is a Jew for Allah.

Peace

You do realize, the Islam religion is about 500 years younger than the Christian religion right? It's not a big secret that the god of the covenant, is the god of the jews, christians, and muslims, and so there are bound to be many similarities in the language, as parts of the old testament are written in hebrew and often translated from older works, like in aramic, since the holy texts originated from the same area. If the word Mushlam is mentioned somewhere in the bible, it doesn't actually mean anything, because when the bible was written, the word muslim didn't mean the same thing as it does today.
Jesus called God "Alayho" in Aramaic.
That's great, but jezus spoke either greek, which was the common language, or hebrew which was the official temple language, so he never actually said it.

Any similarities in themes can be attributed to the fact that the base is the same. Jews and muslims see their roots in abraham, (wether or not he actually existed isn't important, it''s the ideological roots) and the profet muhammed or christ are both serving the same god. The oldest mythology of the bible goes very far back, even to babylon and Ur, as many demons and the hierarchy of the supernatural are slightly altered versions of their religious idols.

In fact the Koran mentions christianity and judism and actually is surprisingly lenient and tolerant compared to how extremists today interpret it.

* "Those with Faith, those who are Jews, and the Christians and Sabaeans, all who have Faith in Allah and the Last Day and act rightly, will have their reward with their Lord. They will feel no fear and will know no sorrow." (Surat al-Baqara; 2:62).

* "Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair admonition, and argue with them in the kindest way. Your Lord knows best who is misguided from His way. And He knows best who are guided." (Surat an-Nahl; 16:125).

* "...You will find the people most affectionate to those who have iman are those who say, 'We are Christians.' That is because some of them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant." (Surat al-Ma'ida; 5:82).

* "Only argue with the People of the Book in the kindest way - except in the case of those of them who do wrong - saying, 'We have iman in what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to you. Our God and your God are one and we submit to Him." (Surat al-'Ankabut; 29:46).

You know Allah is God in some laugage..(( I forgot which one )). Allah and God is the same, every religion praises the same God. Meaning Allah IS NOT another God. Just God with a DIFFERENT NAME. ^_^
