Okay people here's the deal. Please sign this petition so FAC will bring back the chat room! (Why'd it close down anyway?) Some of us have people we want to talk to and can only do so by using that chatroom! SO PLEASE COMMENT AND SIGN THIS PETITION!! LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!!

If the chat is gone, it's because of excessive immaturity and lack of respect for ops and other people. In short, it's your fault.

Due to repeated problems and a general lack of interest, FAC's chatroom is now closed.

FAC will be eventually geting its own paintchat, but in the meantime, you can use Sanoshi's groupboard paint chat. And I also encourage, everyone to check out FAC's forums more and use them for discussions.

The above is stated on the chat page. Denis made the decision now you must deal with it. If you're so interested in talking to people, you can always use some outside messaging service (ie. AIM, Yahoo). The forums are here for you to discuss topics so... as I see it, you really shouldn't be complaining. Just because you're making a petition, you aren't going to get what you want.

From the way I see it, they are helping, even flea is in his own way. Although I do miss the chatroom, but complaining in caps lock will not get you what you want. Even though I'm bassicaly repeating what Kate said, I felt the need to post.

Denis is the webmaster of this site. He created it and owns it. He is the one who chooses what IS and what ISN'T on this site. It is not up to you. He took the chat off of the site for a good reason, as Flea said. Who am I? I was a chat operator and I am a forum moderator as well as a member of the approval panel and abuse team. If I'm telling you to stop complaining about the chatroom and such, I'm probably right. I suggest that next time you do something like this, you handle it in a more mature fashion.

If the chat being gone bothers you so much, that's too bad, you were offerend an alternative (Sanoshi's paintboard, by Denis, and a few others by me). You'll just have to deal with it.

actually I must agree :huh: (go ahead say I'm crazy and a load of crap I don't really care at this point) certain users (I shall not state names) were upon useing the pervertness that an op asked to quit, also it's some of the ops fault(too many problems I shall not utter again), not just the usual people, and the last time I was on the chat rooms, they pmed me telling me a secret url to another chat room (sadly I foregot it) the pm said(this is from a friend:

"Mai- you are invited to a secret chat room Gray has type in (this part is the secret thing you type in the main room), DO NOT TELL ANYONE this code, theis is for those who deserve it! Thank you and see you there!"

And what was even weirder is that Dennis was in the main boards (why, I have no clue but I've never seen him there before) and when I was at the secret meeting an op stated:

"Don't worry, the people who weren't invited will have a place to stay soon"

Well guys,That's all the info I got to state the rest of the time I was there they were role playing and what not, hope this helps! Very Happy

I would reccomend you never be allowed anywhere near a chat if you can't control internet rage. You certainly don't deserve to be a member of mature forums if you're making stupid posts like that. Lack of interest is most certainly NOT the only problem. You don't realise the ammount of people who simply just used it for a war ground, not really caring. Kate remembers how I used to deal with the idiots who would start bitching at each other over whatnot.
I was a chat op as well. I'll be honest, you want your problems solved because of a 3rd grader attitude, you're just as bad as the people who caused the chat to go, so you're the problem, essentially.
Honestly, the chats were fairly burned out by the time they were separated into roleplay and main. It wasn't working because too many people wanted to do so and so.
Triforce was someone who got on my nerves constantly and God forbid I ever deal with him again. I could have been one of these ops, but I kicked who I had to, I talked when I thought I could, and I gave out warnings.
As for a new chat for people who were invited, I wasn't notified. Darn....
But, maturity is a must and very few people were displaying it.
I can name the people with the problems like anything, I remember them fairly well. I feel sorry for Lasher on the nights Jacob was in.
I remember kicking him a lot for immaturity. Just learn and no one gets hurt.

yes and remember Dennis and the site ppl do have a far more advanced attitudes,trust me on the chat rooms I was an op for a day (I had another nick though) and lemme tell you you act just like some of the whiny little bastards I had to boot out,listen the chat rooms are gone and with some ppl with attitudes like your's we'll never have another one!Oh course I do so worry about my pal Jet,I hope he's ok from the typoon (sp I know) that hit his county.... Sad

Stop harrasing the mods and site helpers. The mods will kick you out ^_^. Anyway, if the chat's gone, yeah, it's the people's fault cause they didn't seem to want to use it anymore.
