country's ok... Just not many people on this website like it. It has been the popular thing around montana, although i don't personally preferr it every waking moment of my life. _________________ <MARQUEE>

I don't have a problem with it, and I like some, but my love will always be for rock.
I think me being a southerner has me slightly addicted to the guitar.
It also makes me addicted to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I like Willie Nelson. Don't have a problem with Toby Keith. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

Bluegrass is cool. Awesome guitar. A friend of mine wants a bluegrass band, but right now, he performs solo.
He's kick ass too. Wish he didn't have to graduate this year. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

Eh, it's okay. Just the thing is, Bluegrass is like southern heritage, and the guitars are generally faster than you'd ever expect. It takes more skill to play bluegrass than most other types of music. You have to alternate each of your fingers to a completely different pattern(tabbing a bluegrass song is rather difficult).
Basically, it'll sound like 2 guitars with 2 different melodies at the same time using only one guitar. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

I like Shania Twain too. She's my guilty pleasure. Although "Party For Two" really sucks. Sheryl Crow is great as well. _________________ |

I myself am not a country fan...
but bluegrass is different from country. Well, basically it IS country but..he he.
Bluegrass is country music played on unamplified stringed instruments (as banjo, fiddle, guitar, and mandolin) and characterized by free improvisation and close usually high-pitched harmony.
Country music is derived from or imitating the folk style of the Southern U.S. or of the Western cowboy.
They are both quite simialar to each other, although there is a difference. |
