Much like the thread we have in General Discussion. Has anybody made New Year resolutions for the art year 2005?

That's right, the ART year 2005. Has anybody around here made any resolutions for what they want to draw, paint, what they want to do with their art? Any goal (medium/skill, for example) they want to meet?

Myself, I am not really into making resolutions, so you guys might have to start without me. If you've got any, let's share 'em!

My resolutions are to finish all the drawings I start, and to work on getting my art done faster. Of course, these are just a few of the many resolutions I'm going to break this year. *sigh*

It might seem a little odd, but I tend to consider myself both a 2D artist AND a costumer, both at the same time and within the same frame of reference, so my resolutions this year go something like this:

- Finish at least ten masks to sell for next Halloween

- Make a Man-Bat costume

- Draw out all the major Kittybirgs

My artistic new year's resolution is to..
Make a comic. Not necessarily a funny one, or a serious one, or one about anything at all.. but.. yeah.
My problem is that I'm a terrible writer.
And not so good at drawing either>__<

Learn how to draw hair without making it look a squashed hedgehog.
Actually do something with the ideas I have.
Buy some new pens.

Sell some art. It's starting to eat up more money than I'm happy with, mostly because I get too attached to my work.

Oh, and mount or frame work I'm pleased with rather than putting it in a box or sticking it on my wall with bluetack.

Like I've said earlier (I think in the other resolutions thread), I generally don't make resolutions because most of the resolutions I could make, I don't have much real motivation and commitment to keeping them.

Artistically, though, I do have plans of things I want to get done sometimes, and they can be considered resolutions if you will:

- Finish the crossover series drawings that I used to do
- Start making illustrations for my stories (one for each chapter)
- General experimentation with new media and techniques

My new year's resolutions are something along....

- learning how to draw horses, snakes and possibly cats
- learn how to use new medium - -
- not to be lazy and put shadows in my pictures.

That would be it ^-^
