I picked other, even though I guess "I like all guys" would have been appropriate as well.
But I picked "other" because the most common type I go for was not on the list. I'm not nearly as picky about appearance as I am personality, though. I'll just describe someone I actually know, since he fits most of it. About 5'9", skinny, really dark shaggy brown hair (the back touches his shoulders), somewhat pale skin, Duff McKagan's face (seriously, dye his hair blonde and he'd look a lot like Duff Someday I'll convince him to do it as an experiment ), always wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, more or less the same taste in music as me, agrees with a lot of the same issues as I do (supported my anti-animal testing bill in mock congress 3 years ago before I knew him...and is passionately anti-Bush), plays guitar, very funny...
But then I also have a soft spot for ghostly white boys in poets shirts and eyeliner. And just about any other type, long as they're funny. It's a curse.

I picked the first one cause it's the most like my boyfriend. Someone I can have real conversation with, whether it's somethin serious or just picking apart a movie we just watched. Not always serious though, got to have a little fun now and then, right? ^_^ |

Being serious is highly overrated. If I never take anything seriously, I sure as hell don't need someone always around saying "shhhh, that's not funny". _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I want a guy who is intelligent, most of all. But It'd be cool if he were funny, too- just not in a smutty or juvenile way.
One thing is, I just can't stand macho men. _________________ |

I picked other. I want a guy who is like me. Some one who can be a tad bit serious, but still lots of fun. Can be intellegent, but act alittle dumb at times. Someone who likes to joke around. I want a guy who isn't afraid to be different. _________________ "Don't Worry, Just Because I Don't Talk to You, Doesn't mean I Hate You!"

i'm not all too picky; cute, insteresting, smart enough to carry on a decent conversation is really the only main requirments.
though i tend to have a thing for the quiet guys who sit in corners and ponder s**t rather than the boorish ones who hit on you 24/7...and no jocks >.< |

Well shit, there goes any man I've ever had any form of relationship with, friendship or otherwise. I'll take your smutty rejects.
Come to think of it, they aren't exactly brilliant, either. One just dropped out. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I'd like him to have about the same intelligence as me, with a little leeway either side.
I'd like a few of our interests to overlap, but by no means all of them.
He'd have to be a little louder than me, but not the attention seeking type. If he feels the need to embarrass me in public just to demonstrate that he has a girlfriend, he can f**k off until he's matured a bit. And yes, I'm aware that some men never pass this stage.
And he'd need a similar sense of humour to me.
He'd also need enough income to stop him scrounging money off me. I barely have enough to support myself, let alone some loser who thinks I'm a bank (obviously I learnt that lesson the hard way). And he'd need to do his share of the housework, since I go out to work too (another lesson I learnt the hard way).
But to be honest, I'm fairly happy being single for a while. I like my space a bit too much to want to share it.

I'd have to go with other.
I've always been attracted to the mysterious guy. The one that always seems calm and collected. Thinks more than talks. Tends to attract a crowd of different friends and be pretty popular and likeable in general. Yet incredibly grounded and laidback, not to interested in being in or not but just seems to get by for that reason. Not emotional, and infact, hard to get much emotion or admition to it from him. Yet, still does, just not the mushy guy (can't stand mushy guys) The kind of guy that's hard like a shell, hard to crack open and a damn good challenge to get under their skin, pick their brains a little. The kind that you can dance around a room screaming and yelling with joy when they admit something incredibly deep and personal, that you might be the one of the only people able to pry some kind of information out of them or know them a little better (the best goal/point you could ever score in a game! it's like winning state championship)
Patient, or at least, acts like it. Intelligent, extremely observant and most definetly a thinker. A nice dresser, nothing to fancy or preppy/business looking, but classy nonetheless and tastful. Someone who can ground me, calm me, make me somehow go from the aggressor to the submissive. Yet isn't one to be pushed around, knows when to open their mouths, protective and is able to anyone to back off or chill out if need be.
Anything but dramatic, rude, immature, emotional. Anything but easy. I like a challenge, i don't ever want something to be handed to me, i like earning things. And i can't stand tramatic people, i hate immature little boys, rude people tend to aggravate me and emotional drama queens make me snap. So the above is my type of guy really. The type i'm most attracted to. And i guess that's exactly why i've been dating mine for so long, seeing as he fits that perfectly.
If not that, either a guy like fallen's, or a guy like Jay himself Otherwise i'm not interested and you bore me or just a good friend. |

"My guy" (though he's just a good friend) cut his hair a few days ago. Not just cut it, it's a pseudo-mohawk. Like the sides aren't buzzed, but they're really short, and starting all around the top of his head the hair gets progressively longer until it kind of peaks together right down the middle of his head. It's...unique. Not overly long or anything, just weird looking. He's still very cute, and his hair is freakishly soft, but...but...but...it's short now. But I love him just the same. As chance would have it, his name is Josh as well.
Yeeeeah. This is why I'm taking my female friend to prom as my "date". It's so much easier. I can hang with all my male friends, still get a discount on tickets as a "couple", and not have one person pouting that I'm supposed to be their "date" and not only hanging all over them. Plus I hate school functions. Anyway, so incredibly not the point. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Your going to prom? Never would have gussed that from you. Heh, i'm not. Couldn't give a damn and i don't care. Besides, there's a rule on just how old of a person can go with you, and i don't want to go with anyone i know my age that is worth going with, is going, wants to go, etc etc. And i Katsu is over the age limit for what they allow. And i wouldn't dream of dragging him to one. Way to embarassing for the both of us, and just not my thing. Does that make me insensitive? Who cares any how.
Hey fallen, wanna swap guys sometimes lol. Now that would be way freaky |

Well since I don't have one to swap, sure. I could line up my suitable friends and let you look them over, I suppose. A little over half have "girlfriends", but it's really just a matter of convenience and gettin' some. Very open to change.
As for prom, I refused to go last year and wouldn't be going this year if nearly every person I know wasn't demanding it. Still refuse to buy a dress, though. Last year most people I know stayed on the second level of the club and threw food down into people's hair. I can live with that for a few hours. Then I'll probably leave with some people to the apartment of someone I know and...I dunno. We'll figure it out once we get there. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I'd go to if i had a bunch like that to go with and sit back and watch. I'd dress up in gore though like some dead prom queen. And i'd i'd probably end up planting weed on a bunch of people then finding a way for them to get searched and caught. Because i'm mean like that. And it would be funny as hell any how to see. Hehe.
And that's fine. i'd like you to line them up just for the hell of it. Oh the fun we could have.
And carter, sounds like a good oen there. Go rape him...not that it would be rape...he's probably horny as well but meh. You be a good irl now and enjoy yourself! Maybe someday i'll catch me one for good. Don't know when or how. Who knows, not to worry, i'll enjoy it while i can. Yeah, i'm rambling on. To much cold medicine |

mm.....I'd probably like a fling with a "cool" guy. Y'know, the mysterious quite strong ones.
But as far as what i'm really into ^^ I like 'em kinda goofy, maybe even dorky.
someone with a good sense of humor and who can be comfortable being casually perverted with |

I remember you told me once "Ohh, he's hot. I need me an asian boy" lol. Right before going to Japan with Jenni. *chuckles* Never did get one did you? Hook them suckers and pull them in.
I know plenty of dorky guys. I tend to get more annoyed by them, it depends on what kind of dorky i guess. But in all, i go for what you described as a fling. No idea why, just a hug attraction, not to mention turn on.
My goal, to hook raymei up real good if i ever come out to cali Prepare yourself! |
