wow, appearently my last essay was a great essay, which doesnt make sense. He just told the class how i did a great job.

I tried to sabbotage my writing and instead got praised Surprised
here is a paragraph from that first essay about proofreading:

"I want to be the best proofreader ever, it is my newest goal to be able to proofread all my assignments and be sure of their perfection. It is important because by proofreading, you check for all the errors on the page, such as typos and lack of words. It also helps you clarify the sentences and make appropriate changes on the report. Proofreading is as important as the actual essay itself."

Now i am writing a new essay, and he just told the class that mine is the best so far, muhahaha.

discuss.

That's odd because that situation is a lot like the one I had. It pretty much started back in 10th grade when I wrote something for my English teacher. I don't exactly remember what it was but she did like it. I had no issues with her liking my work other than this thing she did one morning that really creeped me out:

I was sitting in the hallway with my friends talking and all of a sudden they just stopped. They were looking at something else and I turned to see what it was. When I looked up my teacher's face was so uncomfortably close to mine and she had the most unnerving smile I had ever seen! She reminded me of one of those smiling horror movie psychos! She said she looked forward to reading my work and just left. Seriously, I shuddered after she was gone. That still disturbs me WTF?

Apparently you have no issues with your situation. It just struck me as odd how it almost seemed alike, our situations. I just had to write this Razz

I love correcting teachers. In fact I have an uncontrollable urge to prove to them that they're not as smart as they think they are. Which doesn't make me very popular with the teachers.

Last year I had a teacher who liked everything I did and liked me too. She didn't make up for all the rotten teachers I've had over the years however.

Dude, this is kinda creepy that a thread like this popped up today 'cuz the same exact thing happened to me today. Surprised My Honors History teacher pulled me aside after class and she said that she really liked my "State of the World in 2005" essay and she wanted to read it to the entire class tommorow. It just confused me how I could outdo twenty preps especially when my essay was half-assed and done in about half an hour. Cool Almost makes me wonder how I would have done if I had actually put some real effort into the first two paragraphs that mattered. The first paragraph was just my way of saying that Bush is a dumbass (only I used nice long letters) but even I didn't believe myself when I said it, the second paragraph was a bunch of random economic facts that I pulled out of my ass (but apparently I was completely right.) The only effort that was put into the essay was in the last paragraph which was about how Steve Tyler of Aerosmith is the key to world peace (not worded like that exactly but like the Bush paragraph it was decorated with big words.) But it really did convince her that Aerosmith could bring world peace! Laughing And to think that last week she didn't like me 'cuz I was "a trouble-making punk." Rolling eyes

Congrats to all of you on outsmarting your teachers. It feels great to give out metaphorical "F*ck yous!" don't it? Cool
