Roleplaying Idea

This must've been thought of before, but I think it would be a good idea for a side section in roleplaying, for serious roleplaying. I know it is expected for paragraph posts in every posts, but most rpers just don't follow that rule. There are at least 20 serious rpers here at fac, and I'm sure theyd love to have a section where they would'nt be interfered by inexperienced rpers. Maybe this should be in site discussion, but whatever. Just consider it.

Bahl_Rohg, we can't help that people are lazy. It's just a fact of life. where every you go there is always going to be some people who can't type a good paragraph worth their life..

Thats exactly what I'm saying. EVERYONE can make a full paragraph post, but they don't. But there are few who do, and there should be a section for them. It's just not fair when people specificly make a serius rp than little newbs get in the way of it.

I mean my deff. of a N00B is someone who has been around who has been shone the way of doing things but they're to f**king thick headed to do it right. RPing is an art, it should be used wisely..

I'm not saying that they are n00bs, and I'm not insulting them either (okay maybe I am.) But if they roleplay with two words per posts, than thats there style, but serius roleplayers shouldn't have to put up with that.

Its truth but for example: I have played about 3 different roleplays because I am new to this, but anyways a person who writes 2 lines instead of one full paragraph can also be a good rper. I have rplayed with Dragonicflames before (Cedar and his girlfriend remember DF?) you can ask him. I didnt put a whole paragraph I only wrote in a couple of lines per post, but it still was a good rpg...

Two line still isn't all that great, people are under the illusion that a post like "nice" *she said lookin at it* "lets go kira"-(taken from an actual thread) is acceptable, according to lashers rules, it isn't. It may be a good rp, but not an acceptable one.

Yeah, I remember cedar, I kind of beat him and his g/f up a bit.

I'm just saying some people can't help the fact that they are paragraphically handicap. ::shrug.:: I deal with them all the time so I have gotten used to it, i mean if your typing out long paragraphs sooner or later it's going to spawn someone else to do it too.

People learn by example, not complaints.

Time is also a factor. Yes, I did use the (*action* Text) Way to rp, but I pretty much use sentences now, but I dont have the time to type paragraphs(I would If my parents didnt limit me to 1 hr on the computer at home). This isn't to excuse my actions(there's still much I can learn), just something to consider.

As of now, there's no need for a separate forum. Those who want to start a serious roleplay thread can maintain it on their own. Make it clear in the first post what kind of participation is expected and report (or pm until the report feature is fixed) anyone who isn't following it.
