No Name

This has been bugging me for quite a while now, so I thought I'd ask about it.

Refer to the screenshot I have provided. I was just wondering why doesn't the usernames ever show in places like those? Not that it's a big deal -- just been irritating me. o.0

I think it's because of denis modding the forums to display the member nicks entered in the "Real Name" field when registering.

In hindsight, there are two problems with this system:

1 - Nicks can be changed at any time (unlike usernames), there is also no guarantee that one member's nick will be unique (I could've sworn I saw another member with "fallen" as their nick the other day...)
2 - Various functions i.e. PM's must still be addressed by username

This issue affects:
- Login screen
- Forum statistics i.e. birthdays and newest member
- Member list
- PM system (which also suffers from bugs of its own...)
- Member profile page

Notice, however, that the link to their profile page is still there, there's just no text in the link, hence the link doesn't show up.
