Spawing from...I think it was Rock Gods, I'm not sure right now, I decided to settle an arguement over who has the best hair. I was going to make a poll at first but I think its best that I let everyone express their favorites without having to bitch at me for forgetting someone. Remember, give your reasons. You want to convince us that your choice is the best. Remember that. Actually, this really more about taste than actual facts so give whatever reasons you want. ^_^

I personally like guys with really nice hair that can look good in just about anything. So this kinda rules out most 80s hair metal artists in my opinion (because if it isn't teased to maximum height, it sometimes doesn't look that great.) I think Axl Rose had the best hair. It looked good when he teased it up in the late 80s, it looked even better when he straightened it out and wore it with the bandanna and baseball cap and now it looks...well it sucks right now but I guess no one is perfect. ^^;; Also, it was a really nice color. I really have never seen a red-head rocker before I saw GnR and he really rocked his red hair.

But this is all a matter of my taste in hair and what I personally think looks good. Someone could completely disagree with me on this and I'll understand. ^_^

So who's the next candidate for great hair?

Robert Plant - Nikki hates him n' argues that guys with curly hair can't rock, but come on. He had awesome hair. Like...Jesus-godly hair. So pretty n' inhuman.

Nikki Sixx - He shaved the sides of his head, and it still looked hot. That takes talent. The big sprayed out crazy style, shaved sides, cut shorter n' dyed red, or his more recent semi-long "pineapple" cut...s'all good. He is also a hair god. Plus, it looked just as good left down and unwashed for a couple months, so he made some kind of deal with th devil on that one.

Eric Brittingham - I should really find a picture, but no one has ever matched Eric's palm tree. If you've seen the cover of Cinderella's "Night Songs", you know what I mean. And it looked really good without all the AquaNet, as well. These days it's cut short and left brunette, really not workin' for me, but whatever floats his boat.

Axl - Already covered. Only one to represent us redheads in rock (while looking good, that is).

C.C. DeVille - Such a bleache blonde poodle. Fluffed out a foot from his head. Plus he's short n' all around a little dude, so it looked all the bigger. Lookin' decent these days, if he'd kick the blow again.

Sebastian Bach - He's fried the crap out of it, but it used to be bea-u-tiful. Beyond pretty.

Zakk Wylde - Anyone who hasn't seen his early pictures is probably thinking "wtf?", but before he became a dirty mountain man, he was a very pretty guy! Just look! I have to include him just for that.

This has unleased my hair turn ons too. I need help, I really don't see anything else about a guy except his hair. Maybe his eyes if they are really nice like Nikki Sixx's hazel eyes. Those eyes could make any woman get lost while looking in them. :wub:

I think I should also give props to...

Duff McKagan-kept the poodle boy look for the longest time and was able to rock it like it was the sexiest style even in the 90s. Not many men were able to pull off the poodle boy look so much like Duff did.

Tommy Lee-For someone who has short hair, he knows how to keep it looking sharp. Or maybe I'm just delusional? There was just something about how he wore those goggles under his hair in the Pamela Anderson sex tape that was just very sexy and nice. Almost rivaled with Axl's hair. His hair is about the shortest I like a man's hair to be. Its just a quirk of mine. I like that hair nice and long.

Slash-Everyone is going to think I'm crazy for this but think about it. That hair has not changed in over twenty maybe thirty years. That takes some hair skills or maybe Slash is just inhuman and able to keep the same hair style for years and years. Plus, it looks good in a ponytail. Something I thought he wouldn't look good in but he can rock the pony.

*Raises hand* I'm very guilty of that. I never saw pictures of his early days until now and I have to say he had a good head of hair. And his mountain man look today doesn't really bother me. Maybe thats because my uncle and Zakk could be brothers and I'm used to that look.

Duff spent most of the mid 90s onward with short hair. He chopped it [i]all[/i] off. Then he had a mullet for awhile in the early 00's (roughly). Now it's grown back out. For which I thank him greatly (the short hair was fine, but the mullet had to go).

Tommy, when it isn't braided with crap in it, looks pretty damn good with short hair. I approve. Almost better than when he had it long...almost...



Tom Keifer - I think his face makes his hair all the prettier, but I still think it's gorgeous. They showed a clip of him during the "Fabulous Life of Motley Crue" when referring to "legendary rockers" who got ink done at Sunset Strip Tattoo, and that made me laugh. Because really, how many people even know/remember who Tom is? But still very pretty... Click click. He's on the far left. Still lookin' good, although a bit shorter. Eric is the blonde. Palm tree isn't sprayed up in that picture.

Jorge DeSaint (pronounced "george") - Godly hair. It looked better left down than sprayed up, but he had sooooo much hair. Long and thick and wavy and purty. Unfortuntely, until I get around to making some screencaps of the TUFF home movies, I don't have any good pictures of it. Close as I can get.

I'd like to include all of the Beatles for their moptops, but John loses points for not combing it, Paul loses points for later growing a mullet, and Ringo loses points for having a ponytail while half-bald.
George Harrison however- he has the best hair ever! When he had it long, it was so silky and smooth. He was also one of the only white people who could pull off an excellent 'fro.

That big black and white picture of the Beatle with long hair looks like Jesus. Thats all I can think of right now when I see that...Jesus.

I don't really go for the mop-top only because there are too many guys at my school who try to imitate it but for some reason think that mop-top equals disgusting dirty and greasy hair. :ph34r: Its just really gross and because of that, the mop-top has been ruined for me. Sorry.


Scott Weiland-I'm running out of ideas but he's the only guy I can think of who had some decent hair. For a guy who could make an anorexic cheerleader jealous, he had some nice hair. Short hair, but nice nonetheless. Probably has the best hair of his style (and it looks good even in red.)

Trent Reznor-Like Tommy Lee, he could rock the semi-long/short hair style. But maybe I'm just too focused on his voice and his S and M moves to really notice the hair. For all I know, he could be buzz cut but I still wouldn't notice.
