The file you uploaded doesn't appear to be a valid image format for use on the internet. Type it is reported as: image/bmp This is what I got I made a pic in paint and I went to upload a picture and now I cant it keeps on saying thal what's wrong lots of people do this!!!! :huh: the pic should show up here if not *grr* Hope this works!I can't even upload it here it said.,...You cannot upload this type of file

You have to save the picture as a GIF or JPEG. Whe you save, at the bottom it should say something like

Save As: (pulldown menu) 64 bit Bitmap image

You click on it and choose the correct format. This is also on FAQ (the first page!). Please check that out before you make a new thread next time. And don't worry, be happy. Wink

Some BMP's are still getting through because either somebody renamed the file extension without actually converting the file, or because they link them from off-site sources like Photobucket.

Either way, BMP's are not a suitable format for Internet use, hence they aren't allowed. You can convert to GIF, JPEG, or PNG formats with little/no loss of detail.
