Favorite Section?

I'm not sure between Unmoderated and General Discussion. I think General Discussion more so because unmoderated can get boring and too sexual sometimes. Plus you all do know that General Discussion has the photo thread haha just kidding

The music section. For what should be obvious reasons, whole reason I joined the site in the first place (the art section, not forum, but same subject matter). There's a handful of people who can carry on a decent conversation without the drooling fangirl or random flaming interruptions. And while there's one or two sites that are a thousand times better for various reasons, they're huge, and it's nice to be able to start a conversation with just a few people rather than twenty. :wacko:

Second would be unmoderated. At least, it used to be. The best threads have been there, and every now and then somethin' really good comes along. Perhaps now, with some of the causes of tension removed, it'll get back to where it used to be.

General Discussion is all well and good, but no offense, I really don't care whether someone likes cats or dogs better.

In theory, general discussion can be good. Not every topic worth talking about is R. The other problem, however, is the age differences. Not a huge number of years, but there's a big difference in the interests and experiences between someone who's 13 and one who's 18.

Which is why a lot of my early threads died. Not enough people who could contribute. Partially why I hope Unmoderated can pick itself up with new blood to join in.

There's more or less a 'cheat' way to answer this question. Check your forum public profile page, look for where it says "Most Active In". That, and the % beside it, paint a fairly clear picture of where you like to hang out.

Me, I don't have a favorite section on the forums (the section that I'm most active in only accounts for 15% of my total posts!) . I really do spread out my particpiation across the forums as a whole and not one section over another.

Yeah, but I'm only most active in Unmoderated (35%) 'cause there's more people to talk to and threads typically last longer. Doesn't mean it's my favorite.

I'd say I like Anime/Manga first, then Contests. It's fun to go to Games, but it's not neccesarily my favorite (It's where I'm most active, though). I only began to go to Unmoderated this week and I can't say I love it, but it's okay. I'll stick with the moderated forums, though.

I don't really have a favorite section I just click on "View New Posts" whenever I log on and reast/post to threads that look interesting regardless of thier section

Mine is roleplaying, for the expection of the crappy newbie styles that are there, (which I sumtimes do because I feel like it). But i like Unmoderated because of Willers comic....

This is going to come as a big surprise but I really like...the Music section.

I'll give you all a minute to recover from the awesome shock this must bring.

I also like Unmoderated. Lots of good topics (oversexed maybe but good nonetheless) and the members there are really nice.

I avoid the Spam section 'cuz all it seems like is a place where people bitch at the mods or at each other and bitchin' isn't fun.

Thats probably because fallen and Flea are the only really active members in that section. If you want the section to take a different turn, start a new topic and get some friends from other sections to join. ^_^ It should work.

Yeah, it's just focused on hard rock/glam metal 'cause that's what I can talk about the most. Other topics are certainly welcome and won't be beaten with pointy objects (except nu-metal threads, no mercy!), but I just don't have much to say about 'em. Other than "yeah, I like it", which is a pretty boring topic.

It goes in cycles. A whole bunch of sexual threads will be posted, then people will run out of those and start posting more serious discussions, then it all gets depressing and boring, and the sex threads come back to lighten it up. Lately it's been a bounce back from all the bitchfests elsewhere. Eventually it'll get back to threads other than knickers and oral.
