There is a group of FAC site staff called the "Approval Panel" and they oversee ALL new FAC submissions to make sure that they follow the rules. It's their job to ensure that the image is given the right rating, is put in the proper category, and so on. This helps keep people from trying to get away with posting official/stolen art, because submissions aren't publically available until they're approved (it also means you need PATIENCE after submitting a pic -- it usually takes a few hours for a pic to make it through approval) .

Before that, could you PLEASE [i]not[/i] attach an image to every post you make? It's a waste of server space, and it gets annoying very quickly.

If you want a little image at the bottom of every post you make, that's fine, but DO NOT use the attachment feature to do it. Instead, use the "My Controls" link at the top, locate the edit signature page, then use an IMG tag to link the image into a signature.

But anyway. Sometimes the approval panel gets backed up, and it takes longer than normal for a pic to make it through. (The panel members have real life jobs, too; they can't just sit around approving FAC pics all day long!)

Current approval queue level (as of this post) is 56 pictures waiting for approval - not bad, really, I'd wager yours should be near the top of the queue by now.

HI
When i was tring to submit my art i got an error screen after the screen where you select a catagory(did i spell that right) for the pic to be in.has anyone else had that problem or is it just me Uneasy

I haven't seen it . . . but then again, I only draw/submit about one piece a week these days....

Whenever you get an error message, you [b]need[/b] to tell us [i]exactly[/i] what the error message is -- with a screenshot, preferably. Hit 'Print Screen' on the keyboard to take a screen and paste it into Paint, then attach it to your post.

well, check your profile and make sure everything's ok there. Then make sure you have to picture saved to JPEG, GIF, or some other format. It tells you at the bottom which type of files are accepted.

We don't know what the cause of this problem is. Make sure that cookies & Javascript are enabled in your browser settings, and try emptying your browser cache. If that doesn't work, then there's not much else you can do.

Sometimes that happens to me at the library computer. When I login, I tell it to stay logged in even if its a public computer. I just remember to logout afterwards. It seems to work for me.
