I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I just needed some help.

When I go to add a picture, and then type in the description box, and then when I post it, it cuts it off! Grr!

I would write a long comment (Like on my "Limey" picture.) and it cuts it off! Grr!

It's done this with two of my pictures. On that "Limy" picture I don't want people to think I stole the character!

Help? Sad

(Asumming that you know what I'm talking about...)

I haven't encountered a size limit on picture descriptions myself (and I write some pretty long descriptions, too). Got a screenshot? One of the description when you typed it in, and one of how it appears once the picture's through approval. And if you can, one showing how it appears on the "Edit picture" page would be nice to see too.

Additionally, denis, there's a small glitch in picture descriptions, when you submit a picture FAC automatically inserts manual
tags into the description field in addition to standard crlf's. They appear when you edit the picture later, but not if you edit the picture repeatedly after that.

as for the length. Its set at 65,535 characters. Does anyone really need to write more than that? Thats like 10,000 words.

[edit: After looking at your pic, I see your description ends with a >. Its probebly something with the html stripping code not liking your use of < or >. Try editing the comment and writing back what you had, but don't use any < or >.
