I've read up to the 10th one and have yet to see the movie. *eye twitch* I really want to, because the books have a strange attraction to them. I don't really have a favorite though, what draws me to them is Lemony Snicket's sarcastic way of writing. I'm hugely sarcastic myself so, I adore them from that.

Plus, odd things often happen while I'm reading the books.

Well, you can't expect them to get it right. lol. Plus, I think we would have a really really really long movie on our hands if they did the whole series. As for mixed up... well, can;t have them being exactly the same, as long as the characters are about right... were they? I haven't seen the movie.

No, you don't get it. ALl they have to do is slap on a new name and new character names and no one would even suspect it was related to A series of Unfortunate Events. I literally asked the guy outside 3 times if I was in the right theater.

Good choice, although you could watch the movie for fun. ^_^ After I asked the guy for the third time, he said, "Ouch, that bad huh?" It was just exactly like you said... WTF? I just had to point that out.

I've read all the books, the 'Unauthorized Biography of Lemony Snicket' and seen the movie. The movie was actually what made me read the books. I thought the movie was pretty good, but maybe that's cause I wasn't familiar with the series yet, I do tend to go off on movies when they're not acurate to the books they're based on. I love the writing style of the books, scarcasm is always good. And I love his comments to his sister and such. I can't wait to see what happens next.

...You didn't really expect the movie to cover the entire series, right? I mean, it's not even finished yet, and that would be a really long movie if they tried...

No I didn't expect them to cover the entire series, nor did I expect them to put the first book at the ending! <_<
