Anyone like Musashi other than me?!

It's a good game!!! The whole shortness thing is not really an issue. It's still a good RPG!

The game intrigues me, though I haven't played it yet. The highly stylized graphics look really nice, if a little quirky. What irkes me, however, is that Musashi is always portrayed as young and attractive when, in reality, he was old, ugly, and had a horrible skin condition.

However, that doesn't change the fact that Musashi is [i]the[/i] best swordsman in all of Japan's history. Cool

Whoa. I knew Musashi was bad looking, but not THAT bad. But, like you said, he is a great Samurai. Probably THE greatest. 10 more days until the sequel realeases! Very Happy

What consoles is it being released for, again? I forgots.

And yeah, Musashi was really ugly. He also never took a bath or washed his hair - he was too busy perfecting his swordsmanship. I learned all this from the foreward to Musashi's book, "The Book of Five Rings." Highly reccomended!

It's the whole manga shading thing that makes him look like that. But... at least he's taller. Wink

Though it was cool having a chibi going on a samurai related adventure. ^_^

P.S. The trailer was AWESOME!!! Was it not?

Having something that ugly, homocidal, and humongous, stand right in front of you, just isn't natural. But still... Cool

Can you use two swords in the game? If memory serves me correctly, that was Musashi's speciality, though I may be mistaken.

Yeah, you can use two swords at once. (I think) :huh: The Katana (short sword wielded in the right hand) can copy enemiy abilities, defend, and has good offense. The Great Oar, (right hand) Is pretty slow, but with the right precision can do BIG damage! Laughing

Especially if you do the "Sword Rotation" move. Cool

Along the way, you'll get other swords like, The Sword of Fire, Sword of Water, Sword of Earth, and Sword of Wind. All are needed to take down Gandrake, and his Enterprise. Very Happy

Wow, that was an EXTREMELY long post. WTF?

P.S. Musashi is wearing a shirt, but it's so small, you can see his stomach. WTF?

It was so fun. I was like... the first game I had ever played on a PS1, but it's still fun to go back and play again. What's the sequal gonna be called?
