Anime Turned Into Live Action Movies.

Alright, I know they're going to make Mellissa Joan Hart play as Ryoko Mitsurugi in the live action Real Bout High School and I don't know about Neon Genesis Evangelion. What I think is that what is anime and started out as an anime or manga should STAY that way. Stuff like this has always ruined it for me because I always ending up being forced to watch it by someone, catch a glimpse of it somehow, or get extremely curious as to how bad the damage is. What do you think?

I can't believe Hart is gonna play Ryoko... That is just so depressing to me... T.T One of my favorite female anime characters from one of my all-time favorite martial arts manga being played by goofy googly-eyed "Sabrina the teenage Witch" Geh... just kill me now... it almost as bad as giving Hillary Duff the role (almost but not quite so bad).

Gah! That's rediculous!
I, myself, have never seen RBHS, but still.. Making an anime into a live action film is just stupid, if you ask me.
It's true art should STAY in the first form it's made as.

Manga and anime are sort of the same thing, if you think about it.
Making it into live action just ruins it all.

Dunno what happened to it, but does anyone remember the stuff about a live-action Dragonball Z movie being planned? Regardless of your opinion's of the show itself, I 'm sure the idea sends a cold shiver down your spine, that or makes you break into a fit of laughter.

*cracks up. Yeah. And Hillary Duff? Guess what. They are/were (whichever one) actually thinking of casting her as Asuka in the Neon Genesis Evangelion live action movie. It makes me wanna SCREAM!!!! And could you IMAGINE Duff screaming in a MECHA? She'd be a 'squeak' with a sarcastic expression on her face.

Well, I doubt that they kept it that way. They were also thinking of Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings) to play Fujisaki. But you know...Ian McKellen was seen on a float at a Gay Parade, so I don't think many NG fans will want THAT. Gotta go. Later.

YEAH AND IT MAKES ME WANNA LALA... Now back to real world, i heard about the DBZ one, but all these new ideas with all those crappy actors, I dont even think its going to happen.

i suppose that they think that it would b an interesting new idea.........the only problem is no matter how hard u try no human can act like an anime person. it wouldnt b the same. . . . .

Ya I heard about that too, 'Toonami' did a little message marathon thang <_< anyway, 4-kids should be slaughtered! they made people stereotype that anime is only ever for little kids, they killed character personalities and storylines and you don't get the same feeling watching dubs. I still get stupid non-anime peeps saying thick comments it does get annoying. <_< hay on the acting thing they'd probably have sucky costumes, inapropriate accents and cheesy storylines

They tried it with Gundam (G-Savoiur) and failed, so I doubt it.

it is probably possible if they would try the right anime. I think it would be pretty cool if they did a Fullmetal Alchamist movie with Lord of the Rings quality^^ yeah...that would be awsome! *plots*

like I said.. if it had Lord of the Rings quality (which is really good) and followed the plot (which is really good) and had good acting...then maybe it would be good. I'm just saying it would be cool if it came out succesfully, not trying to start an argument... ^^

I'd watch them just to point at actors trying to make an anime-only expression and laugh at the stupidity of it all. yes I think a $7.00 movie ticket is worth that but it'd have to be something like inuyasha (hah i'd like to see them try xD)
