Take a look at that list. it's pretty funny..yet so true. I wouldn't recommend going there if you are into mainstream pop music though Very Happy

But they got that Backstreet Boy wannabe front man. And he wears glasses like he's intellegent. Glasses like your intellegent don't mix with peircings like your cool. Not that intellegent people can't be cool, they just don't need to promote it so much. But I [i]do[/i] think he has a pretty voice...

I like Greenday, sometimes, all the rest can go to hell. Mariah Carey should have taken Whitney Crackheads place. And Snoop Dogg/Dr. Dre/sellouts should be on that list. If I had the time I'd finish that list myself, believe me, I got beef with most bands, rappers, and solo artists alike.

Hey, I enjoy "Nu-Metal", if thats what its called. It has to be done well, though. And that guy is right in saying there are countless cookie-cutter Nu-Metal bands out there who all sound exactly the same: bad. But I like Korn. Korn is tasty. Mmmmm...

Duley noted and aware of. However, he did stick it pretty hard to the originating artists as well. I feel they all deserve it, KoRn included, even though I like their music. I'd rather just talk about good music though. Bob Seager, Lynard Shynard, Pearl Jam, Guns n' Roses, Ram Jam, Bob Marley, good bands with good music.

nu-metal COULD be a good style of music..if only most didn't rip-off other nu-metal and true metal bands. It's really sickining how bands so boring and generic-sounding (and poser-ish) get so much explosure :(

On the good side, there are a few nu-metal bands out there that don't sound so generic. I myself enjoy listening to Static-X and Disturbed, and they're considered nu-metal. I'm also not afraid to admit I kind of like Korn's self entitled album..it was catchy and had a few good tunes...pity they became big-time sellouts.
