I recently bought a $350 USD Yao Ming Rookie card. I mentioned it on another topic thread. It is his most valuable basketball card, and will be worth thousands one day. I also have a WNBA (Womens National Basketball Asociation) playoff program (a magazine given away during a game with info about that game). It's autographed by 7 players and the head coach. Not only that, but let me tell you the goods on this one:
-It's a 1997 program, that's the inagural year of the WNBA, the very first year! very first championship.
-It's autographed by 7 of the Houston Comets players, including the late Kim Perot, and every great player on the 1997 Comets team, Including the head coach and MVP Cynthia Cooper, and my true love Sheryl Swoops.
-The Houston Comets went on to win that first title, and then the next three, which makes them a dynasty by NBA standards. The ONLY dynasty in the WNBA.

I doubt the WNBA will last much longer, I'm sad about that, but on the bright side, if the league folds, then my autographed program will go sky high in price, being that there will never be another like it. I bought it for $375 USD.
I'm curently looking for Incredible Hulk #181 on eBay. Haven't found the right one for me. After that, I will save up $400 USD and buy a Jim Lee sketch piece off of eBay. Which will also sky-rocket in price once Jimmy kicks the bucket, hopefully he won't anytime soon, though. But it will be something to look forward to.

Well, what you got?

Hmm. I've got some first edition books that are increasing in value, but it'll probably be a while before it'd be worth selling them.

Beyond that, not much. Keyboard, xbox, a few bits of original art that were dead cheap, a kilo of cocaine underneath the floorboards that I've put aside for a rainy day, and various bits of cheap tat that I've picked up in charity shops.

I've also got Wolverine #1, it's not worth much, but it's still cool, not anyone can go out and buy a Wolverine #1 comic book. Most people can, but not everyone.

When I said valuable possession, I meant stuff like your original art. Something that may be worth alot in the future. Not a soon-to-be obsolete xbox when PS3 hits and creates an earthquake that will put Cali to shame.

And remember, that kilo will go bad and begin to harden and stick together if you leave it under there too long. Then it will be worth nothing.

Hell Yeah! I once had a metallic Isis dagger. It's sister sword was beautiful, and expensive, but the dagger was cheap. I knew someone who found an Indiana Jones sword in the middle if a carwash parking lot before. Don't know if Indiana ever used a sword, but the movies logo was scribed in on it.

I've got a few first issue comics around. I'm positive of the following:
Wolverine #1
Spiderman 2099 #1 & 2
Warlock #1

A few others, but I can't recall. I bought a huge box of comics from some neighbor when I was around 10 for about $10.

Also, I've got some really old Morgan dollar coins that could be worth thousands, but I don't know much about coins and don't know anyone who could get me an estimate. I've seen them on sale and the prices range from $350 - $34,000.

My brother has alot of the 2099 series. But only the 1st issues. He has like #1-6 of X-Men 2099 tho. I have one of Spidermans most famous cover comics. Its the one by a young McFarlane, where Spideys sittin in his web. Speaking of McFarlane, I just bought a Yao Ming McFarlane toy, Yao's first toy, aside from those damn bobble heads. And I also got a David Carr McFarlane toy too, It was first sold at the Superbowl here in Houston when Janet flashed me.

Nice. You can have one of my guitars. But you gotta tune it, I keep them especially out of tune for a reason. What's that reason you ask? well, when I sing along to a tuned guitar, the compelation comes out crappy. So I tune it way off so the guitar and I are in sync. No, not the pop-crap band you wanna beat up. in sync, remember when ashly simpson lip-synced? when she messed up, she was out-of-sync. Like I am with a tuned guitar.

I'm not sure, I guess my bag of prisma colored pencils and inking pens (art supplies basically) and my horse figure carved out of jade that my boyfriend got me in New York. Also probably pictures, I love looking at my old pictures.

Ah, this is hard. Umm. I have to make a small list.

My duvet, i have serious sleeping problems. especially when it's not in my own bed but if i have that, i can do it.

My laptop, i have all my writing in it and then some. And my music which is a big thing.

My journals, notebooks. I scribble notes and thoughts in them.

I'd be messed up without all my other stuff, but i'd survive with all the above i think.

That's a really good one. But, when making this topic, I meant 'valuable' as in market value. I think there is already a topic about personal stuff that means alot to you. I mean things like a pot of gold in your basement, or Kate Beckinsale in your basement, you know, stuff that everybody else wants too.

My brothers best friend has a basement full of old TransFormers, Star Wars, and I think G.I. Joe toys. When he gets around to clearing all that stuff out he's gonna sell it all on eBay. I, myself, recently bought a vintage Millinium Falcon. It's cool, but not the first one to come out.

If there is one thing I value most, it is the gloden lockett I got when I was 16 from a girl named Alodia. It has a picture of her on one side and me on the other...I still remember the words she said to me that day; mostly because I wrote it down in my diary journal. Sometimes I feel as though the song entitled, "The Boy with the Thorn in his Side", was made with me in mind.....because sometimes I feel like that young lad that Morrissey sang about so many years ago...not to be a dooby downer, or anything lol
