yes redids of great songs that pop artists killed. i was looking for lyrics and i have found avril lavigne in knockin on heavens door...i was like woah and then i listened to it.

i love rock 'n roll. britney spears really needs to get a life. i didnt even like the song the first time or second time. her doing it was death 3 times over.

don henley's boys of summer got ruined by the ataris not because they did it so terribly but because they changed the dead head sticker to a black flag sticker and because stupid fan girls thought they wrote the song.

Whoever it was that covered Imagine recently. There's some songs you don't touch, and that's one of them.

Knockin' On Heaven's Door has been covered so many times, it's unreal. And all but a couple of them suck. It should be illegal to cover that song.

There have been one time live covers I've heard that have really sucked.

The Super Bowl Halftime show where Britanny Spears and Justin Timberlake sang Walk This Way (at least Steve Tyler was there to save it...or maybe it would've been better if he just didn't show up and saved face.)

Celine Dion singing You Shook Me All Night Long has always annoyed the crap out of me because there's just some bands pop women shouldn't be singing from and AC/DC is one of them

Evanescence redid Imagine. Its on her Fallen album. Never knew it was a cover. Who was the original singer?

John Lennon.

Celine Dion, when they told her to do an AC/DC song, said she wouldn't sing any song that referred to balls. Then on the screen they listed all the songs about balls. Long list. Laughing

I remember Sheryl Crow did a cover song for Sweet Child O Mine. It even won a Grammy. It was just too pop-oriented for a GnR cover. It made me sad. Sad

And I heard that version before the orginal so for two years I thought that Sweet Child O Mine was a Sheryl Crow song that GnR did a cover of. Surprised

Of course a list about rock songs referring to balls would be long. Sex it 1/3 of the Rock Unholy trinity. Cool

Rod Stewart's version of "What a Wonderful World". He butchered that song, and it was one of my favorites! Grr!

G4's version of *Everybody Hurts * by R.E.M.
The song was so nice and soft and they ruined it by bellowing it out at every opertunity.... Grr!

-Any cover of Imagine except for Neil Young's.
-Any cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. You can't touch Judy Garland, you just can't.
-Madonna's cover of American Pie.
-And Hilary Duff's cover of My Generation. I'm not kidding, she really did cover it. Don't listen to it unless you want to hear the equivalent of your brain being torn out with a pair of rusty tongs.
