Unicorns...

Do they actually exist? Stupid question, I know, but is there actually such thing? Have you ever seen one on the internet? If not, go on to Google, then Google images. Type in "real unicorns" and it should come up with some pics of them...
But are they actually real life animals? What do you all think? :wacko:

well , remains have been found of what seem to be horses with horns . but no ones quite sure what the truth is Smile

only problem was , the unicorn they think they found was missing its back legs soooo it might not of been a unicorn at all , it might of been some prehistoric...thing...with no back legs WTF?

Perhpas Sarah, you should change the topic to mythological creatures, do they exsist.It's a good idea, and a nice discussion topic. Easier than just having it in seperate chunks.

I think most unicorn myths come from some species of plains antelope.

Granted, there are deformities in animals that create the typical "one horn" that unicorns are associated with, but this usually happens in already horned animals, such as cows or goats. For it to happen in a horse would be very rare. A deer perhaps, but not a horse.

There was a program on the History channel not too long ago that discussed this, and had explainations for many other mythilogical critters, like the gryphon, cyclops, and centaur. Very interesting.

unicorns......i suppose it would be possible if you just took the anatomy of a unicorn , basically a horse with a horn , but unicorns are said to be all magical , mystical and all that strange stuff , wich i for one dont beleive in ..i suppose it could be possible , but if its never been proven , im not gonna place any faith in the theory Smile

theres a unicorn in my backyard. i mostly feed it scraps and leftovers, and my parents don't know its there. at night i hide it under my bed, and when im at school i hide it in my closet. Once my parents ALMOST found it, but i managed to distract them by blowing up the house.
