This is a forum, not a chatroom. Don't expect a reply within ten minutes or a couple hours, it's best if you wait... a day or so.
It'd be best if you go over the rules and FAQ ... and introduce yourself in the newbie thread.

Anyway. I've read one Tamora Pierce book. Allana... or something like that. I hated it. I skimmed through other books by Pierce... didn't like them either.

Back when I was just starting highschool I was obsessed with Tamora Pierce books... but that was a while ago and I've kinda grown out of them by now.

You didn't like the Alanna series, Enix? : o! That's my favorite series by Tamora Pierce. I never did like Wild Magic much. Protector of the Small was good, though I didn't like the ending. I have the first book in her newest series, but I still haven't read it. Trickster's Choice is what it's called, I think. OH, I never liked her Emelen series or whatever. :/

Kate - Meh, iunno. The book just never really appealed to me. I found it a tad boring. I do like fantasy type books, but this one I didn't find so great. But I did only read the first book. Maybe if I read the next one I would possibly like it ... *shrugs*

Yeah, well, I can kind of understand why you wouldn't like it Razz I do think it gets better as the series goes on. My favorite book was the second one. I didn't much care for the third one. Alanna went to some camp in the dessert and... blah, boring Sad

Oooooh a Tamra Pierce fan?
I used to be a huge fan, not as much anymore... I still like her, though.
I woulsn't say the books are good, as in classic good, but I enjoy reading them when I don't want brain activity... WTF?

I read Trickster's Choice and the sequel, Trickester's Queen. I enjoyed them quite a lot. The plot was really awesome. The books got a lot of good reviews, too.
